Daintree, Cape Tribulation e cruzeiro de rio a partir de Port Douglas

This tour is amazing! Andrea’s knowledge and passion for the history, the indigenous culture, the flora & the fauna in this beautiful part of the world is contagious and leaves you wanting to learn more. His commentary was engaging and his attention to our small group was above what we’ve experienced before. Thanks Andrea & DDT for a day we look forward to remembering forever.

Better than I dreamt it could be. Our tour guide, Andrea, was exceptional. He brought the rainforest alive with his knowledge and passion.

An impressive day with lots of great experiences with our guide Cam. He was a very knowledgable, professional and personable tour guide and made the day extremely enjoyable and memorable. We would highly recommend this tour.

Daintree Rainforest is beautiful, and you should see it if you're in the area, but maybe not this tour group. While the overall day was wonderful, there were a few things that kept this experience from being five stars. Our guide, Kim, was extremely rude to my family and me, constantly pointing us out from the group as Americans and even asking us our political stance on current events. This made my family and me very uncomfortable with our guide. I am sure many of his comments were made as jokes, but they did not land with us. He constantly mentioned his views on politics, hippies, and Papua New Guinea, as well as details about his personal life. I was expecting to learn more about the rainforest than I did. He also said that it is okay to drive drunk in the rainforest, since there are no cops up there. No one found that joke funny. For the amount we paid, I was hoping to get more time in the actual rainforest. While I understand that the rainforest itself is far from Port Douglas, I was hoping not to spend most of the day in the small van, and yet it was. Not a complaint, but something other travelers should know. The river cruise was the best part of the day, as we were not with Kim. The guide for the river cruise was excellent, and was the most I learned about the rainforest the entire day. He was great at spotting crocs and telling us about them and their home. I wish the cruise had been longer than it was. The food was okay. The coffee/tea experience was wonderful. However, lunch was served very early for me, before noon, which was not ideal. The ice cream was wonderful, but note that it was not included. The best parts of this tour were definitely the cruise and time in the forest; my family especially liked Mossman Gorge. Cape Tribulation was also beautiful. The natural beauty of Daintree is the only reason that my review is as high as it is. However, Kim's rude jokes and comments that made us feel uncomfortable were really unacceptable. Definitely see the Daintree Rainforest, but reconsider if this company is right for you.

Great day, from the walks in the rainforest and the mangroves to the boat ride looking for Crocodiles.

Excellent, informative and spectacular scenery

The Daintree was incredible! Our guide, Dale, was very knowledgable and friendly. Wildlife is hard to spot in the rainforest, so seeing the Boyd Forest Dragon was extra special. Truly a beautiful place and the croc sighting exciting as well.

A fantastic day! Our guide Peer was absolutely brilliant, his knowledge was outstanding, we learnt so much about the Daintree Rainforest and the whole ecosystem. We were also very lucky to be able to see a cassowaries and a few crocodiles! Highly recommend this tour and hopefully you are lucky enough to get Peer as your guide.

We had the best experience. Our guide, Cam was amazingly knowledgeable and charismatic. We had various sightings of animals, birds and insects. I think we managed 7 sightings of Cassowaries. Our mourning tea that was provided was lovely. Made up of Daintree tea and scones (with jam and cream). On our river cruise we sighted a five metre crocodile named Scooter. Lunch with about five different choices was amazing. The Barramundi was delicious . Take your bathers for a swim in the most clear and inviting looking swimming hole after lunch. The Daintree and Cape Tribulation has to be seen to be believed, totally amazing. What better way to end the day by calling in to grab some delicious ice cream.

This activity can not be understood through words or photos. You MUST experience it! The scenery is something out of paradise. So stunning and unimaginable. We were with a small group of only 4 other people so our guide Pwr was able to personalize it just for us. Highly, highly recommend this beauty!
