Overall, more of a rip-off for the American target audience, what a shame!

Actually a good idea, but with significant shortcomings: - way too large a group (14 people) - major hygiene issues (participants kneaded the shared dough with unwashed hands) - the price-performance ratio is not right; the advertised wine with the meal and the espresso with the tiramisu were not served Overall, more of a rip-off for the American target audience, what a shame!

A fabulous cooking class with great host and beautiful place

This was absolutely lovely and our host was superb - we had a great bunch of people on the class and so nice to eat our creations altogether! Thankyou for a superb experience and for your wonderful knowledge 🙂

Do not recommend

I'm unsure if we were just unlucky but we would not recommend this class at all. The cooking itself was fine, we did learn techniques on making pasta and tiramisu but, It was significantly more expensive than other classes and we left hungry. There was a lot of sitting around while she prepped certain things through the course. She kept telling us to enjoy ourselves and get drunk but our group of 10 ran out of the two prosecco bottles in the first 30 minutes. We also told her in our booking that there were members of our group that didn't eat seafood and she then proceeded to plan only seafood dishes. She did accommodate the one who spoke up, others made vegetarian tortelli that they did not get to try. Our portions were also so small. We made what seemed like plenty of pasta so i'm not sure where it all went. Afterwards we had to stop for a late night snack as the four bites of pasta wasn't cutting it. After paying $175 a person we should not be leaving hungry. Overall this was by far the worst cooking class I've ever been apart of.

Wine Our standard offering is one bottle of wine for every three guests. With a group of ten people, it is therefore not possible that only two bottles were served. This is a fixed part of our experience and not something we improvise. Pacing of the experience This is not a traditional classroom-style cooking lesson. It is a shared culinary experience, where the chef is also your host, instructor, and server, moving constantly between preparation, teaching, and service. Moments of waiting are inherent to this format and are intentionally designed to encourage conversation and conviviality, not passive sitting. Food and portions We are sincerely sorry if there were misunderstandings regarding the menu, and we regret if any guest felt the portions were insufficient. This is highly unusual, as portion size is one of the aspects most consistently appreciated by our guests. Regarding dietary preferences, we always rely on the information provided before the experience and adapt accordingly when clearly communicated during the event. We understand that our format may not be suitable for everyone, particularly for those expecting a fast-paced, school-style class or a restaurant-style service. Our experience is designed around participation, sharing, and atmosphere rather than volume or rigid structure. We appreciate your feedback and wish you the best in finding experiences more aligned with your expectations.

A great experience but the chef must pay attention to certain points

An applied chef in a pretty setting. The day of the performance the pasta proposal was a little too "basic" and especially different from the e-mail received a few days before with much friendlier ingredients! Red mussels busara sauce - Tortellini: originally mandis shrimps & prawns - Broccoli and cheese). Too bad. Coffee would also have been appreciated at the end of the meal especially for the price

I'm so sorry for this inconvenience about that Bernard, and I'm astonish to read it. I will investigate about that. Everything we writte and decide together in our chat about the food is then reported to my relatives when they held the classes. Probably there was a misunderstanding about because of the big big group. Very sorry for this again.

Authentic experience

Genuinely cannot recommend this enough! In the most beautiful apartment with such amazing people - not to mention best meal we’ve had in Venice! Book this for a local experience!

Must do pasta class

Chef was knowledgeable, friendly and engaging. The class was held in a beautiful private home. I left confident that I can make the recipes again and it was a wonderful experience to share with my sister.

A wonderful cooking class experience, and much more!

The chef was extremely friendly and made us feel at home. We learned how to make fresh pasta, filled pasta, and even the famous tiramisù: a truly unique experience that I highly recommend. The location is beautiful, an authentic Venetian home on the top floor with a terrace.

Amazing Experience

We had the most great afternoon with Anthea guiding us trough the wonderful experience of making our own pasta, a delicious Tiramisu. Sharing with a delicious organic prosecco and a home made limonccelo... I would repeat if visot Venice again and I recommend 1000000%.

Pastakursus with bubbles

We had a fantastic experience at the pastry course! Everything was clean, neat and professional from start to finish. The host was incredibly hospitable, clearly engaged, and explained each step with great patience and detail – perfect for both beginners and those with a little experience.
