This tour was a brilliant way to explore Korea outside of Seoul. Mr Kim (MS) was an excellent guide, sharing lots of information about Korean history and culture, as well as sharing tips and suggestions for evening activities and food, as well as making the process of checking in to hotels and onward travel really easy.

First: Thank you for the good and competent tour guide and thank you to the busdriver who has took us safely in Korea!

The tourguide showed us interesting places of the Western Korea. The bus was comfortable and the hotels were good.

I can fully recommend this tour.

I have mixed feelings about this tour. To start with, getting on the right bus was a nightmare. It's a new tour so the guides weren't all the familiar with it, but even when I gave them my name they still didn't think I was on their tour until after 20 minutes of asking around they finally pointed at my name on their sheet and I confirmed. That was a really frustrating start.
The tour had a lot of Russians on it and a few English speakers, so there were 2 guides - 1 for each language translation. The English guide was nice and friendly, but where he would speak for a few minutes about our next stop, the Russian guide spoke for 40 minutes. I don't speak Russian so I'm not sure what he was talking about, but I found myself feeling jealous and left out of the experience. I'm on the tour to learn more about Korea, and I couldn't help but feel that the Russians were getting a lot more insight and information than we were getting in English.
Much of the reason I wanted to go on this tour was to visit the green tea fields and Jeonju. I felt these and a few other locations were rushed while we spent far too long at other sites with less activity. There was also a confusing balance between holding our hand and guiding us around places and letting us explore on our own. At times when some local Korean guidance would've been useful, we were left to fend for ourselves.
Meals were weirdly paced as well - sometimes we'd have early meals, sometimes later, sometimes too close together. Meals were sometimes packaged in with exploration time, so even if you had a quick bite, you're still missing out on time at the location.
On the upside, the accommodation was really good, great spots and comfortable hotels. The transport was good too, lots of regular pit stops along the way with enough time to stretch your legs and use the bathroom. If it weren't for the ability to compare with how long the Russian guide was talking, the English guide would've been adequate.
Not entirely sure I'd recommend this to anyone, it really depends on what you want to get out of a tour. This was fine but I had higher expectations and hoped to get more out of it.
