Cruzeiro do Sol no Rio Zambeze

When I checked with the Provider to confirm pickup, I was advised that they do not pickup from Zambia side of river. Money was refunded promptly. Reservation never should have been accepted given the Provider knew the hotel pickup location was outside their working area. TripAdvisor and Provider need better coordination

Me and my 17 workmates had a group visit to Vic falls and Simon organised everything for us, from the airport transfer in a beautiful and luxurious bus, with a very warm welcome. We had a guided tour of the Vic falls, sunset cruise, game drive, quad biking, the village tour and not forgetting the Boma dinner, hotel pick ups to different venues, arranged on point and on time by Simon. Inhouse intertainment arranged as requested, ooh we had a good time. The young man surely knows his job to make people happy and comfortable. He will definately arrange my next trip. Choose him to arrange the visit to your next destination and you will not regret it. Simon you are amazing, keep up the good job.

The pickup from the hotel was prompt with stops being made along the way to pickup other participants from their hotels. The boat trip saw various animals such as hippos and crocodiles. The trip continued along the Zambezi and waited until the sun went down, and then we returned to the dock. As a standard cruise it offered value for money.

We booked a standard sunset cruise with Simon in October and later on he described to us the difference between standard sunset cruise and luxurious sunset cruise. We later on opted for a luxurious boat though we topped a certain amount. The beverages on the boat were premium, snacks were of high quality. We saw lots of animals. Africa Beast Safaris is the best service provider in Victoria Falls.

We booked this trip in advance, were collected from our hotel and dropped off at the jetty. I thought we were going on a 2 tiered larger boat and was pleasantly surprised on arrival to find we were on a smaller, single decked boat which was lovely. Maybe it was because there weren’t many booked on the trip as there were about 8 on ours, but I know more people from our hotel were on the same trip and there were multiple Khanondo boats out on the river together. There was a lot of other boats out for the sunset, but they all seem to keep to their own different space generally and so they don’t spoil your view (or photo). We saw many hippos, a croc, lots of beautiful birds that the captain pointed out, the steam from the falls and we were lucky enough for a sunset. The drinks were good and plentiful (if you wanted) and the canapés were delicious and again a decent amount, but don’t think it’s a full meal... it is what they say... canapés. Would recommend but you obviously need to drop on the weather.

Simon always very friendly and attentive, all contact prior to arrival in Victoria Falls was made by Whatsapp. He was always available to answer questions and help with whatever was needed. The Sunset Cruise over the Zambezi River was wonderful, despite the cloudy weather. Definitely, it is an Enterprise you can trust. Super recommend!

Had a great time! The tour was well organized and the operator did everything to make me happy demonstrating a lot of flexibility. The cruise was as amazing as the sunset, don't expect to see too much wildlife (crocodiles and Hippos were what we saw besides birds, you might see more if you're lucky)... Anyway the river's landscape is very nice and absolutely worth visiting!
