Poke was great and love this boat. This is my second tour
We had Okke as our captain and he was very welcoming when we got there. He gave us lots of great information about Amsterdam and made it a personalized experience for us. We really appreciated the fun and easy atmosphere. We would recommend this to anyone coming to Amsterdam.
What a great way to start my trip to Amsterdam. The canal cruise was absolutely wonderful and the guide couldn’t have been more informative, gracious and with a sense of humor. I highly recommend anyone visiting Amsterdam to experience the canal cruise as it will give you a great bit of history, along with some beautiful visuals of the city.
Wonderful cruise. The captain was Oly (Oliver), and you can count yourself lucky if you get him as your captain. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and has a good sense of humor.
We joined the Morning Canal Cruise Amsterdam in Small Group on Friday, 15 May 2026, and it was without a doubt one of the absolute highlights of our trip to Amsterdam. A huge thank you to Captain Dave, who made this experience truly unforgettable. From the very beginning, he was incredibly friendly, authentic, and genuinely passionate about what he does. You could tell that he really enjoys sharing his city with his guests. Even though there was an unexpected engine issue, which caused the boat to arrive a little later than planned, Captain Dave handled the situation perfectly. He sincerely apologized, stayed calm and professional, and ensured that everyone still had an amazing experience. His positive attitude made all the difference. Unlike many standard canal tours, this cruise took us through fascinating parts of Amsterdam that we would never have discovered otherwise. The route was diverse, the stories were engaging and informative, and there was plenty of time to enjoy the atmosphere and ask questions. The small group size also made the whole experience feel very personal and relaxed. If you’re looking for a canal cruise in Amsterdam, stop searching—this is the one to book. We can wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting the city. Thank you again, Captain Dave, for such a wonderful and memorable tour. We will always remember it!
Fantastic morning cruise through Amsterdams canals. The boat was cozy and we were lucky to have Captain Dave as our tourguide. He was funny, present and had a lot of both historic and personal stories to share. Our best recommendations❤️

This is an absolutely wonderful tour experience. Gisella and Captain Dave provide a very personalized high class tour in a smaller group setting. Would definitely recommend using them for the canal tour of Amsterdam!
Fantastic tour taking you to all the intimate places with the city. Our tour with Jan was extra special as you can tell how much he knows and cares for the city. Ultra friendly and accommodating, I highly recommend Captain Dave over any of the big standard charters out there.
