It's a very intimate experience on a beautiful boat off the coast. You'll be treated to a great dinner, drinks, and warm hospitality. The chef and the boat captain were fantastic hosts. If you'd like a unique experience, then give this a try!
Thank you very much for joining our cruise. We truly appreciate your warm and thoughtful review, and our entire staff is delighted to hear your kind words. We will continue striving to offer hospitality that brings joy to all our guests. The scenery changes beautifully with each season, so if you have another opportunity to visit Japan, we would be honored to welcome you again.
great food and cozy atmosphere. Top service and a very wholesome experience. It was rainy, but nevertheless great. I imagine it being even better when the sky is clear.
We just got off the boat and want to share the fresh impressions. We were already warmly welcomed at the JR station. On board we then continued. The food was very delicious and we would be taken care of touchingly. In fact, the tour took place even though we were only the only two guests. All the more beautiful for us! Thank you for the great experience!
The hospitality was amazing from the moment we met at the meeting point. The food and ambience were superb!! The boat ride was beautiful and very smooth! We were the only 2 people on the boat so it was basically a private tour! Staff was very kind and would explain where we were and what we were seeing. This is a MUST DO if you are in the area!! It’s a hidden gem!
We've had a great time. The boat had only 4 tables, so it felt like a special personal experience. We've had a good view of the Torii gate for the whole dinner, right from our table. There's a spacious deck on the boat. On the way we've stopped by an oyster farm, which was interesting. The food was great. Multiple courses. All high quality. The organizers asked for our dietary requirements and adjusted the menu accordingly.
A must do if you love a smooth boating floating restaurant with views of the harbor, oyster farms, special shrines, birds and being served local food specialties. Our wonderful host spoke English and also prepared our dinner. There is local sake, beer, and shochu for purchase. A concentrated amount of beautiful views from the boat.
Gift for my husband on his birthday. We made the tour of the island of myajima in the afternoon then embarked for dinner cruise. It was wonderful. The pickup at Onoura Station is very simple and so is the boat. We enjoyed a delicious meal in an intimate environment (there were only 5 of us on the boat). The staff was very friendly, attentive and had to explain us this superb view.
Food was amazing frm start to end, and they will make sure we are super well fed! We went in the dead of winter and were well taken care of, with heaters and blankets. Ambience during evening was nice and i imagine it would have been even better to sit outside with a glass of beer during summer/spring. Would love to be back and to book the whole space for ourselves!
This was a spectacular experiance. The boat was a cute and romantic small pontoon style dinning boat. The small scale made it perfect for an intimate dinner for two. We did the dinner cruise which allowed us to see the sun set. The water was very calm, the sky was clear with brilliant stars everywhere. The cruise was smooth and the food was delicious. We had course after course of perfectly prepared food. There is something for everyone, from soup to seafood to meet. All were scrumptious. Dessert appeared to be a something you would see at a Michelin star resturant. The presintation was buetiful and the taste matched the buety. We were able to see a shrine that is only visible from the sea and witness the numerous oyster beds the region is famous for. This is a must book.
My husband and I were the only ones on the dinner cruise in early December and had a fantastic time! We got to see the sunset from the water and a good tour of the near-by oyster farms and some nice views of Miyajima Island. The multi-course dinner was delicious and included salads, sashimi, vegetable tempura, roasted meat, miso soup, rice, and dessert. The guide/cook was very welcoming and answered any questions we had about the area. My husband spoke Japanese, so he was able to translate for me; but even if you didn't speak Japanese, you could enjoy the food and the boat ride.
