⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An unforgettable river cruise with Pur Africa! We did a river boat trip in Zimbabwe with Pur Africa, including lunch on board — and it was absolutely fantastic. The food was delicious, and the scenery was stunning: truly majestic views and a wonderfully peaceful atmosphere. We were lucky enough to see hippos, crocodiles, and plenty of beautiful birds, all in their natural habitat — it felt unreal. A huge thank you to the amazing crew who made the experience even more special: • Yolanda, our captain, was exceptional — a fantastic guide and an excellent captain. She knows the wildlife incredibly well and knew exactly where to go so we could spot the best animals, from birds to crocodiles and hippos. • Precious, the chef, served a wonderful lunch. • Tinachet, our waiter, was attentive, kind, and professional. Everything was smooth, friendly, and perfectly organised from start to finish. I 100% recommend this experience — if you’re in the area, don’t miss it. Five stars without hesitation!

Absolutely lovely way to spend a couple of hours on board Kalunda. Captain Daniel, Hostess Yolanda and Chef Kainos gave us a fabulous lunch ( delicious - excellent, actually) while peacefully navigating along the Upper Zambezi. Helped out by the crew we saw all sorts of animals, lots of photos, and learned a bit about the river. This is a very romantic trip for 2 but they can cater for up to 6. Reasonable cost, too. Very highly recommended.

What an elegant way to end our trip through the Botswana bush. Our pontoon boat was lovely, as were our Captain, server, and chef. It was just two girlfriends and everything was so elegant and lovely cruising the river for two hours having lunch. Highly recommended!
