The food was very delicious, the accordion player was funny and it was a pleasant atmosphere! We actually had seats in the middle row, but since not all windows were full when we put them down, we were able to sit down at the window. It was a very relaxing tour!
The cruise itself was nice however the signs enabling you to access the commentary were not well placed and we didn't actually see them until we were on the way off the boat so we didn't benefit from this. The food was also nice. The boat was not full however they seemed to have placed all guests at neighbouring tables which actually made it impossible to get out of your seat if you were at the window without disturbing the others on your side of the table so you could shuffle out. The thing that was the biggest red flag however was that we were told on our voucher to meet at a kiosk in a square at 11:15, we arrived earlier than this to make sure we could find the place but we were then told that we had to get to the boat for 11:30 and it was not close! I was travelling with older family members and family members with decreased mobility and had we only arrived at 11:15 this would definitely not have been possible, it was a near thing as it was. It would be much better if the meeting point was at the ticket office at the dock (which is only a few meters from the boat) instead of in the middle of the town.
People seemed more interested in the complementary food than the sights, as the boat rode around in circles. The cue for the buffet was more than half an hour. After 5 minutes the accordion player was insufferable as he repeated the songs continuously. He must have been a mute, as he said nothing; most performers introduce themselves & the songs. This tour was a mistake for me.
We went on the lunch river boat cruise today, had a great time. The buffet lunch was very nice, and were given a free aperitif on boarding. Sat up top to see the amazing views, loved it and highly recommend, the staff were very friendly and helpful
The buffet was excellent with plenty of choice . The staff were very attentive The views were stunning
Enjoyed views of the city from a new perspective, served with a nice buffet lunch and wonderful music.
The views are exceptional! Food very good. Loved the live accordion music! Thank you! Would go again!
Getting to the kiosk at 11:20 ready for our transfer at 11:30 only to be told we had to find our own way to the pier to get on the boat. When I booked the trip it stated that an air conditioned coach would be transporting us to the pier, which was included in the price. We eventually got to the pier but were told the incorrect bus stop to get off, which stopped at pier 16 and our boat was on pier 3b. Once we were on the boat the experience was very good. All the staff were attentive and there was plent of choice with regard to the buffet. There was both hot and cold food, as well as fruit and desserts. Again, on returning to the pier there was no air conditioned coach to return us to the kiosk. We were not very happy that what was advertised was not what we received.
April 29, 2024 - If I could, I would give 3 and a half stars on TA. 4 are a bit too many, but you can't do otherwise. It was one of the optional excursions, organized by our tour operator, during our stay in Prague. Cost €40.00 per capita, with lunch on board. As for lunch, it wasn't the best. Not for the food, made up of good local products, but for the small number of tables on which to consume and for the confusion that is generated when the "counters" that contain the products (all buffet style) are opened, in a very small environment. The mini-cruise, however, which lasts 2 hours (or a little more) (lunch included) is nice (especially on a beautiful sunny day, as happened to us). You travel on the Vltava, from one side of the city to the other and admire its beauty. An experience, in my opinion, to be done once, but not to be repeated.
Had a fabulous time! The food was great. The wait staff very professional. The music an added touch.. would recommend this lunch cruise highly.
