Cruzeiro Clássico La Regina, Impressionante Baía de Bai Tu Long 2 Dias 1 Noite

We have taken many excursions over the years. This will go down as one of the most memorable. The scenery and stops alone are worth the price. Add in convenience, attentive staff, and comfortable lodging- very clean) and it is over the top. But there is more, the food was excellent; fresh, well cooked, and presented with class. Many options for any eater.

The cruise had an arrogant person incharge by name Chavis who treated us all Indians very badly and even misbehaved with atleast three group members on separate occasions.But he was simultaneously overly servile to white skinned European travellers. The food quality was below par.Other lower staff was nice and the bar service was excellent.

Really disappointing experience. Booked this cruise 2 months in advance and was then notified 1 month later that they cannot accommodate our booking. Messaged me over whatsapp and did not reply to my questions. By that point the other cruises were booked up, and the rest of the trip was planned around it. Awful service

We loved the cruise experience. Everything was well managed from check-in to deboarding. Peter made sure we were comfortable on the cruise and even after check out while we were waiting for our cab. He helped us with coordinating with our cab driver and came to drop us to the cab. We had booked terrace suite and it was very comfortable with a big balcony, which gave us our private space to enjoy the view. All the activities and meals were planned well. We enjoyed the activities, especially the cave exploration. The kitchen staff ensured to take care of our food choices. Taichi on the sundeck early in the morning was a very calming experience. During our tour we embarked for a two-day cruise through Halong Bay. An authentic boat with beautiful spacious cabins, separate toilet and shower cabin. Various activities were organized on board. A canoe trip to floating fishing villages, buy workshop on the top deck, as well as a Tai Chi exercise. The food on board is fine. The staff are very friendly and try to please everyone. It is highly recommended.

Once on board of the La Regina Classic, we were treated to a varied and hearty meal prepared by the crew members. The unusual appearance of the Ha Long bay scenery is beautiful, both day and night. Kayaking was nice but to our great disappointment, swimming in Ha Long bay was not allowed. The night squid fishing was boring, we did not even get baits for our fishhooks. Sleep on the ship was not great as the cabins air-conditionning system was not effective. The planned visit of the Vung Vieng floating village was not carried out (maybe cancelled due to the announced Yagi typhoon). I would still like to thank La Regina cruises staff, especially Ziu and Max (for their careness and professionalism) and also Peter (for his humor and professionalism).

The Paloma / La Regina cruise was one of those who caters to Bai Tu Long bay visit off the beaten track. We chose 1N/2D package for a family of 4 (2 adult+ 2 teens). Booked directly through Paloma, Mr Quy; one premium sea view cabin and terrace suite on the 2nd deck. The cabins are well maintained and equipped with all the modern facilities. The terrace suite is absolutely stunning with the open ocean front view and deck chairs. They followed the published itinerary and were very disciplined. The staff were extremely cordial and catered to everyone with a friendly smile. What highlighted the overall cruising experience is the sumptuous food and wide spread of menu. we were overwhelmed with the 7 course meal served for lunch and dinner. We only needed to buy our drinks as required. Although they provided us with unlimited tea, coffee and drinking water at the cabins. Mr. Peter and Mr. Luke were our your managers and attended to everyone. We especially liked the cooking class and Tai Chi session with Mr. Peter. As for other crew members, everyone was extremely helpful, though special mention goes to the MasterChef and May, Anne and Beer. We strongly recommend all fellow travellers to choose Paloma/La Regina fir an unforgettable vacation in Halong Bay.
