Uma visita às Cataratas Vitória não está completa sem um hipnotizante Sunset Cruise e o Zambezi Explorer, o principal cruzeiro ao pôr do sol da Pure Africa, traz um nível de sofisticação bem-vindo ao rio. Uma atualização recente viu móveis recém-criados, cadeiras com padrão Ndebele tecidas à mão e luminárias que melhoram o humor, todos adicionando elementos de design contemporâneos. Há três decks a bordo, o 'Signature Deck' no nível mais alto é pura extravagância com hors d'oeuvres gourmet, coquetéis e bebidas premium servidas por um mixologista dedicado. Ao cruzar o alto rio Zambeze, você também verá a névoa subindo das mágicas Cataratas Vitória. O rio Zambeze é o quarto rio mais longo da África, o maior rio que flui para o leste da África e o maior que flui para o Oceano Índico da África. O rio de 2.574 quilômetros de extensão (1.599 milhas) nasce na Zâmbia e flui pelo leste de Angola, ao longo da fronteira nordeste da Namíbia e da fronteira norte do Botswana, depois ao longo da fronteira entre a Zâmbia e o Zimbábue até Moçambique, onde atravessa o país desaguar no Oceano Índico. A característica mais notável do Zambeze são as Cataratas Vitória.
Este parque consiste em 40 km da fachada do Rio Zambeze e uma variedade de vida selvagem, rica floresta de mopane interior e savana. O Parque Nacional do Zambeze é conjugado com o Parque Nacional das Cataratas Vitória e ambos os parques cobrem uma área de 56 000 hectares. Uma grande variedade de mamíferos maiores pode ser encontrada dentro do parque. Se você tiver sorte, poderá encontrar animais como hipopótamos, elefantes, crocodilos, kudus enquanto navega no rio Zambeze.

The tour was relaxing, hassle free pickup, good snacks and drinks and nice views. We spotted some hippos, watched sunset. Only difficulty was the chairs, which were quite uncomfortable.

We had a wonderful time cruising on the Zambezi with Pure Africa! We chose the luxury experience which included drinks and canapes. While we didn't book a dinner cruise, the delicious food we were served filled us up so that we ultimately skipped dinner that night. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks were also included in the price. There is some narration during the cruise to provide a safety orientation and help passengers understand some of the local geography. However, guests are mostly left alone to relax and just enjoy the water, the scenery, hunting for animals, and the sunset. It was very relaxing! We saw hippos, crocodiles, birds, and even elephants. We were picked up from our hotel just before 4pm, and returned by about 6:30 by a very helpful driver. This was a perfect ending to a day that included a walking tour of Victoria Falls National Park on the Zimbabwe side. Highly recommend!

This was a fantastic experience! The boat was very nice with comfy couches and chairs and great views from the top deck. On this sunset cruise alone we saw 2 sets of Wart Hogs, bloats of hippos, birds, and elephants on the way back to our hotel. Food was good and service was fantastic.

We had a really great experience overall and thoroughly enjoyed our time. The staff were absolutely excellent. Friendly, attentive, and professional throughout. The boat itself was beautiful and clearly very well maintained, which made the whole experience feel special and memorable. The only downside was the food. Unfortunately, it was quite average, very plain and not quite up to the same standard as the rest of the experience. Portions were also on the smaller side, and it definitely felt like this is an area that needs improvement. Especially for the price! That said, we still had a wonderful time and would recommend it, especially for the service and the stunning boat. With some upgrades to the catering, it would be a five-star experience!

A perfect experience. The hotel was picked up on time. We had the exterior of the Signature Deck to ourselves. We saw a lot of hippos and a crocodile. The food served was fantastic. Big praise to the whole crew.
