Esta atividade exclusiva foi concebida especificamente para passageiros de cruzeiros que desembarcam em Ponta Delgada. A sua experiência começa com uma visita à Plantação de Ananases Santo António, onde poderá explorar as estufas, conhecer o processo tradicional de cultivo e degustar ananás fresco e licor local de ananás. De seguida, viagem ao pitoresco vulcão Sete Cidades, desfrutando de vistas deslumbrantes até ao miradouro da Vista do Rei. Ficará maravilhado com o contraste dramático entre o Lago Azul e o Lago Verde, situados no interior de uma cratera vulcânica adormecida — uma vista verdadeiramente fascinante e perfeita para fotografias. Depois, faremos uma paragem no centro de Sete Cidades, permitindo tempo para visitar a Igreja Neo-Gótica de São Nicolau e descobrir o encanto desta comunidade histórica. Antes de regressar a Ponta Delgada, o tour inclui uma paragem no Miradouro do Escalvado, situada numa deslumbrante costa de lava.

Considerada como uma das sete maravilhas de Portugal, este é um miradouro onde as mais famosas lagoas dos Açores, podem ser vislumbradas. A lagoa azul e verde, são sem duvida um lugar único e magico.
No interior do vulcão das Sete Cidades terá a oportunidade de explorar as atrações deste lugar como miradouros, centro da freguesia, fazer uma pausa para um café, visitar a igreja de São Nicolau ou passear pela borda da Lagoa Azul.
Miradouro em altitude sobre a costa de onde se pode admirar as enormes falésias e as rochas negras dos ilhéus dos Mosteiros. Este será o ultimo ponto antes do regresso a Ponta Delgada.
O regresso a Ponta Delgada dura cerca de 30 minutos e os viajantes têm a possibilidade de escolherem entre ficar no centro da cidade ou no terminal de cruzeiros.

Was disappointed as we didn’t get to taste the pineapple or the liquor!
The island is beautiful. Your guide was well versed in the happenings on the island and lifestyle. With that being said, he knew the best places to stop for optimal views of this beautiful place. The tour gave us a good overview of the island and ended at the pineapple “plantation”. The only negative is he went on a tangent about how expensive things are and how tough life can be there. That is everywhere right now and not a highlight of the tour.
We were on a cruise and were asked to meet the tour provider at the terminal. Our tickets stated that we should be there for 9am start. There were 8 of us on a small group tour. We waited in the cruise terminal. The last couple turned up just before 9am and the tour provider said she’d have to cut the tour short as we should have been there for 8.30am. We therefore had to miss the pineapple plantation because she said we had to get back 2 hours before the ship departed. We did however get to see the lakes in the sunshine and were blessed with a rainbow which was the icing on the cake. I would recommend this trip but can I suggest you liaise with cruise travellers the night beforehand and change the time accordingly so they receive the 4 full hours they have paid for.
What a great tour of the lakes and volcanoes. Bruno the tour guide and Paula the driver were both quality people that offered a very special tour experience.
