Cruzeiro para Koufonisia and Rina's Cave

Wonderful day on a boat with a good crew, a beautiful ship, and an experienced captain. Good food, sea, and splendid islands.

We had a good cruise with a friendly crew, a good barbecue meal.

The trip to Kouloufnia was definitely worth it, lovely and relaxing island. The swimspot at the cave was also beautiful. Unfortunately though, the only person on the crew who was friendly was the captain, the service from the rest of the crew was really poor. The food was also not great.

Boat probably had 6 people too many so not everyone got a seat. We had to stand up at the side or sit inside. It’s a nice way to spend the day if you want to get out on the boat. Crew were friendly and god was great

A disappointing trip that could and should have been a great day out. A glass of local wine with lunch and a couple of begrudgingly provided bottles of water only after staff checked with the skipper. Very little information provided by the unfriendly crew throughout the day ! Choose another operator

I am going to start with that I think the price is worth it. I do however think there should be a little more information/ communication on what to expect. First it is about an hour boat ride to the first stop. It is very pretty and it is where the Rina cave was. Unfortunately we only had 30 mins here. We were able to jump off the boat and swim to the cave. It is a long swim (about 5-10 for an active swimmer) and by the time you get out to the cave to explore it and the surrounding area you have to start heading back to the boat. This was disappointing but the next stop made up for it a bit. Another long boat ride to the next stop where we had an hour and a half. We were able to explore the beach and the rocks. The snorkel and pool noodle were a big help to making it a more enjoyable experience. The snorkels provided are just in a bin so if you have reserves about that make sure you bring your own. The food was good! I was surprised and I think they provided was a good sized meal. Our last stop on the island we also had plenty of time to explore. We were given a time we needed to be back at the pier and they were like at least 20 minutes late so we were a bit annoyed but it was not that big of a deal. It was a 2 and a half hour ride back. TLDR: It is worth doing just know that you spend more time on the boat than off of it.

If youre looking for a great snorkeling experience, this is not it. Pristine beautiful water with not a whole lot to see. A few small fish and lovely sands. The cave experience was great. The sea water, food, crew, islands, boat: Awrsome! Great excursion, just not what I was looking for in terms of a wonderful snorkeling experience. Boat ride was choppy, which is what you get at sea. If you get motion sickness, get a motion sickness patch.

Fantastic day out on the water visiting and swimming different areas of Naxos. It was unbelievable to see the colour of the water at koufonissi where you get to spend 2 hours to walk around, shop and swim. I don’t recommend it if you get sea sick though but if you want to visit the island there is a fast ferry that also leaves Naxos to koufonissi which is a fast ferry.

Overall a good experience with very friendly crew and delicious lunch. You do spend most of the time in the town and in transit (the ride back from the town at the end of the day took about 2.5 hours) with only about 1.5 hours combined at Rinas Cave and the other snorkeling location, so don't expect a ton of time for snorkeling.
