As a couple, we liked that this tour didn’t feel hectic or overcrowded. The semi-structured walk gave us enough guidance while still allowing some independence. The old town is compact, so the tour naturally moves at a gentle pace. The guide was polite and gave useful insights into local culture. It’s a good option if you prefer calm sightseeing over busy, packed itineraries.
Highly recommended. A long tour that covers the whole peninsula and the city itself. We enjoyrrr enjoyed it.
Unfortunately this trip had a very bad start as the belt broke on the van we were traveling on. We were just at the ferry and hadn't yet boarded when the van broke and we had to wait 30-40 min. for a replacement. Once the replacement had arrived we resumed the trip. Due to the shortened time things were a little rushed and we had to miss the final stop. While I am very grateful the van did not break in a much less accessible location, it was a bit of a downer for the day. The guide was good and the passengers all went with the flow to make the overall outing ok.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the unexpected technical issue with the vehicle. Unfortunately, such situations can occasionally happen, and for this reason we arranged a replacement vehicle as quickly as possible. We also extended the total tour duration by one hour, which compensated twice for the approximately 30-minute wait for the replacement vehicle. We are glad to hear that the guide was good and that the passengers were understanding, and we appreciate your patience on the day.

Traveling alone, I found this tour easy to join and well-structured. The group size was reasonable, and it felt safe and organized throughout. The guide pointed out key historical details and local stories without making it too formal. I appreciated having time to just walk and take in the surroundings on my own. It’s a good option if you want a simple introduction to the city without planning anything yourself.
We took this tour as a family during our cruise stop in Klaipeda. The pace was comfortable and manageable, which helped a lot with children. The meeting point near the port was easy to find, and the overall organization felt straightforward. The guide shared simple but interesting information about the city’s history and culture. It wasn’t overloaded with facts, which made it easier for everyone to follow along. We had a few stops for photos and short walks, which broke up the time nicely. Overall, it’s a relaxed way to get a first impression of Klaipeda without too much rushing.
As a couple, we were looking for something easy and well-organized from the cruise port, and this tour fit that expectation. The logistics were smooth, and we didn’t have to worry about transportation or timing. The walk through Klaipeda was pleasant, especially the old town area with its quiet streets and architecture. The guide provided helpful context but kept things light. It’s more about atmosphere than major attractions, but it was an enjoyable way to spend a few hours.
We were scheduled for 8:30 AM. I woke up at 7:00 AM turned on my phone at 7:30 AM and received a message that the time was changed to 7:45 AM to 8:00 AM. We rushed to get ready and made it to pick up point by 8:15 (still 15 minutes before scheduled departure) and were very rudely asked why we were so late. I replied "why were you so early". When the final party arrived at 8:30 AM (They were scheduled for 9:30), our guided informed everyone on the bus that we were finally able to leave because people were so late (extremely rude & innacuate). Extremely poor planning on the part of the tour operators. There was absolutly no reason to change the start time less than 24 hours before the tour. It appears that 3 or 4 start times are given as options and then combined at the last minute if there are not enough bookings.
We are sorry to hear that you felt the guide’s simple and polite question came across as rude. Please note that the pickup time was never changed. The meeting and pickup section of the tour description clearly states that pickup begins 30 minutes before departure. The tour departed exactly as scheduled at 8:30 AM, and we began collecting guests at 8:15 AM, which was even less than 30 minutes in advance. Pickup details were sent to your email and phone more than 24 hours before the tour start time. If you received the message later, we recommend checking with your internet or mobile service provider. If you prefer more flexibility with pickup times, we strongly recommend booking a private tour rather than a shared group tour. For group tours, we kindly ask all guests to be mindful of fellow travelers. All other group members arrived by 8:15 AM and did not wish to wait, as their time ashore was limited by the cruise ship schedule. Respect for others is important not only when traveling, but in life in general. Safe travels.
