The experience did not start off well because we were not given the correct address of this experience. I had planned this specifically because the location was within a 10-minute walking distance of our hotel and the restaurant where we had reservations afterwards. It was only after some back & forth on WhatsApp (at the time the experience was the be starting & no one was opening the door for us) that we were told we were not at the new address, though my confirmation clearly stated the one where we were. So, we had to grab 2 taxis (as there were 6 of us) to get to the new place. There was no apology for the mix up upon our arrival. We booked through "Get Your Guide" so not sure where the issue is, but there is an issue of a wrong address on the confirmation. The experience was fine, but there were 6 of us & only 5 distillation stations, which meant that even though we paid for 6 people, we left with only 5 bottles of gin while two of us shared. Since there were not enough places to accommodate the full party, this should have been brought to our attention prior to arrival and the 6th person should not have to pay full price. Just not the evening I was hoping for.
This was a fantastic experience! I have been a big fan of gin for long and getting to create my own recipe with botanicals and making it was awesome! Very nice premises and the host was great. Really recommend this to anyone interested in diving deeper into gin world 👌
