This was one of the highlights of our cruise! Everything was well organized from start to finish. The departure point was conveniently located near the cruise port, and the crew kept a close eye on the time so we returned with plenty of time to reboard the ship. We visited three different reefs plus a sandbar, giving us the chance to see an incredible variety of fish and other marine life. The snorkeling was excellent, and we never felt rushed. The optional photo package was absolutely worth it—the photos were beautiful and made for great memories. I would definitely book this tour again.
The locations are amazing no doubt.. however the boat is small.. the food is a tray with some ceviche and half a pineapple cut off in pieces and one other fruit.. but is a share tray floating on the ocean getting soak with water, you don’t get a plate.. you eat from same tray.. The drinks are beer, off brand cola and water.. no margaritas or tequila that they advertise also they rush and only give 15 minutes on the first 2 places and keep you like 2 1/2 hours on the last one, to the point it got boring. I would definitely not recommend this tour.. there are better options.
Excellent experience, beautiful ocean wildlife and very nice team from the tour, recommended for anyone who likes to swim and snorkel
My family (husband 2 kids 6 and 8, and grandpa) all had to opportunity to go snorkeling in this excursion. It was a dream! They waited for us because we got off the ship and through crowds later than that we thought. However this did not take away from our trip! We got to snorkel 3 locations with the last one being El Cieloito where we were several finger food and beverages. Oue guides took pictures and we were able to purchase them separately from the package. My kids had a great experience, guides were friendly and knowledgeable and did their best to talk in English and Spanish. They had safety measures in place for people who could not swim well because at times water was somewhat rough. I would recommend this tour to anyone who is looking for an experince.
This excursion was the best! Took my niece and daughter and were so amazed at the level of professionalism and comfortability of the team. The caption, Joaquim and Chito were the best host! : ) I was a bit nervous snorkeling but they comforted me with patience and ease and I'm so appreciative because I took the best pics everrrrr. We got to El Cielo and I thought it couldn't get anymore amazing!! They made fresh shrimp cerviche, guac and fruits!! Chef's Kiss!! Special shoutout to Joaquim and Chito who helped me get through the initial nervousness...gracias!! Tip these guys!!!! They deserve every penny!
Thank you so much for your kind words! We're thrilled to hear that you, your niece, and daughter had such a memorable experience. Joaquin and Chito will be very happy to know they made your snorkeling adventure comfortable and enjoyable. We hope to welcome you continue enjoying Mexico and hope to see you soon 😊
This Wednesday 16/04, we made the Snorkeling excursion on 4 cozumel spots with the guide Fred. A Marseille native with a singing language. He was friendly, available, listening to all this tinged with enormous humor. Even if we are Nice, we highly recommend it!😉The sites of Cielo and Cielito are particularly beautiful. The bonus, the waterfront aperitif in Cielito, accompanied by fresh guacamole and cévice. You're going to take a lot of eyes. A busy day that met our expectations. Little advice: there is a photographer who will accompany you on snorkeling. The photos are very beautiful but they are charged, about, 30€ per person. The other option is to come with your so and a waterproof pouch. Excursion to do absolutely! Thanks to Fred and Pixan Riviera The Nice family
First of all, the guides were all very nice and spoke decent English and translated for those of us that don't speak Spanish. The snorkeling itself was amazing, we saw a flounder, stingrays, starfish, sand dollars, and fish of all kinds. The ceviche, fruit, and guac at the last stop was delicious and the "party" atmosphere was a really fun end to the snorkeling with the stingrays swimming all around. The actual tour was 2.5 hours from leaving the piers to returning. Before leaving, we waited 30 minutes at the second pier for a late family. While it is nice to know will wait if you are late, it was quite a long time to wait, but I understand they probably didn't want to have to give a refund for leaving them. I felt rushed at each of the snorkeling spots, and considering how early we got back, I feel that we could have spent a bit more time snorkeling. The boat was also very full and when you came out of the water, there was very little room to walk safely with everyone's feet and the ice chests, trash can, etc., on the floor. I slipped and fell onto a poor kid and hurt his leg (and mine) as I had no place to put my feet to steady myself when the boat rocked while trying to get to an open spot. Finally, the pictures that were taken of our family while snorkeling were lovely but were priced at $30 for one picture or $60 for all of them (about 10-15 or so). Just FYI so it can be budgeted for, I wish I had known beforehand how much to expect. Overall, it was an unforgettable time that we enjoyed and we would book with them again.
The snorkel sights are nice. the boat driver (I can’t bring myself to call what he did as being a captain) and the snorkel guide are absolutely not environmentally savvy. We think the boat driver was drunk and the guide threw sand at a starfish, which is not a recommended thing to do. It wasn’t an ecological or safety focused snorkel. Would absolutely recommend if more conscientious guide/ driver of boat. I hope more people do more than pay lip service to trying to not harm the reefs and ocean life.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. I am deeply sorry to hear about your experience and the concerns you raised regarding environmental awareness and safety during your excursion. We take such matters very seriously. The behaviors you described, including the handling of marine life and the conduct of the boat driver, are unacceptable and do not align with our commitment to preserving the environment and ensuring the safety and well-being of our guests. I want to assure you that we are thoroughly investigating this incident and will take appropriate measures to address these issues with the team involved. Thank you for helping us improve.
Recommend this tour very much so! We saw the coral reefs at Palancar, with lots of diversity if you look closely, and then El Cielito and El Cielo; for the starfish, stingrays and lunch on the beach. Lunch was ceviche, nachos, and beer/drinks including a sip of tequila! Cassandra, the guide was great, Alejandro took some great photos at an additional cost for purchase, and the boat Captain Antonio! The tour I was on I was the only English speaking, but got by with the Spanish and Alejandro helped me know the important bits! I felt safe throughout and had a great day, furthermore, Fernanda messaged me beforehand saying that the tour could not go ahead due to weather and port closure, but was great to keep me aware of whether it could take place the following day (which it did!) or opt for refund. Only small fault I had was it ran a little late, and I was kinda confused why we set off and came back to the pier within 20 minutes, it was like a tactic to have the best chance to get the boat full and the tour sold out! Great, would recommend and would do again if I came back to Cozumel with friends or family!!
The description of the excursion was not accurate. A very small boat and we were squished in. The ride to the first snorkelling point was 45 mins. The crew was ok and explained everything well. The food at the sandbar was excellent- ceviche and guacamole.
Thank you for your feedback regarding your excursion. I sincerely apologize that the description did not meet your expectations and that the boat felt cramped during the trip. We truly value your insights, as they help us improve our services. I’m glad to hear you enjoyed the food at the sandbar, especially the ceviche and guacamole, and that the crew provided clear explanations. We will ensure that future trips address the space concerns to provide a more comfortable experience for our guests.
