A friend of ours recommended Gede to us and it turned out to be one of the best decisions for our trip. He was incredibly helpful right from the planning stage, helping us figure out what sights and activities were worth it, what was a tourist trap etc. When we got to Bali, we found him to be an extremely good guide - very knowledgeable, very friendly and especially very flexible and accommodative, particularly given that we were traveling with a baby. Where necessary, he was happy to make customizations. He always went the extra mile, helping to take great photos, was very nice with our baby, always checked up on us at the end of the day and would confirm the next day schedule ahead of time. On the trips themselves, he was very entertaining with stories about himself and the area, but would also know when to be discreet. One of the highlights of our trip was when we were tired and hungry and the baby was cranky, we happened to be near his family farm and he got us fresh strawberries for the baby. On days where he was unable to help us himself, he made sure to make arrangements with friends of his, who were also good drivers and guides. Overall, Gede was a big part of what made our trip memorable. He helped us tour Tanah Lot, Uluwatu temple with the Kechak dance, Tegallaland rice terrace, Wanaigiri hidden hills, Banyumala waterfalls and many other great sights.
