I had a 20-hour stopover in Athens and decided to sign up for the Running Tour of Athens. It was exactly what I was looking for—a fantastic way to see so many of the city's highlights in the limited time I had. John was an excellent guide. He was knowledgeable about Athens' history and answered all of my questions. We started early to avoid the crowds and the heat, which made the experience even better. He also took some great photos along the way. In addition to being a running coach, he's clearly a talented photographer! I also appreciated that he let me set the running pace, making the tour comfortable and enjoyable. I'm really glad I chose this tour and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique way to experience Athens.

We had a fanatic run through Athens with John. He was very friendly, very knowledgeable and a professional coach as well. The miles flew by and we had a brilliant time.

Great start to a day in Athens! Dimitra was incredibly friendly. Would highly recommend for anyone who wants to get some exercise while seeing the sights of Athens!

Very overpriced. I wish I had just taken myself for a run. I didn’t get enough out of it. For a country so rich in history, I didn’t feel like there was enough depth to the information I was delivered.

Running with Giánnis was awesome! We met in the city center and ran all the way to the Panathenaic Stadium. Giánnis is a great guy and the journey was amazing. I highly recommend it.

I cannot say enough of what a terrific experience this was. I met Jon in the morning and we ran through Athens and ended in the modern Olympic stadium. Getting to take a couple laps on the track is a memory I’ll cherish forever. He let me pick the pace as we chatted the entire time. If you’re a runner, I highly encourage you to add this to your itinerary. It was a “Top 5” experience in Greece! (Note: Visit the souvenir stand the day before and buy yourself a medal they have limited hours.) Brian Maves

If you're a runner, it's impossible to stop doing it in Athens, right at the site of the first Olympic Games. And even more so if you add to that the wonderful company of personal trainers who adapt to your physical condition and interests, making a 5k as wonderful as a marathon. Thanks, Gianis and Dimitra.

Dimitra was awesome!! She paced with me and made the run very enjoyable. It was nice getting a personal connection with a local resident. She gave great insight for places to eat and things to do. Highly recommend this for any runner. What an awesome experience to enter the stadium as a runner.

What a way to start the day site-seeing around some of the most amazing landmarks and features Athens has to offer. I was lucky enough to be the only person to be doing the tour. The meeting instructions were clear: 7:30am outside Public (a shop) opposite syntagma square. I was met by Jon and Dimitra who joined us from their office. I was advised the run would be taken at my own comfortable pace stopping at the landmarks along the way to capture the moments. We finished up with laps around the Panathenaic (Olympic) Stadium with photos and videos being taken to keep as amazing memories. Nothing was too much trouble for Jon and Dimitra and after they offered advice on where to go and things to do. Highly recommend this tour and it’s amazing way to start the day.

While John kept the pace, Dimitra shared stories about Greek history and mythology. All of this as the city woke up at dawn! It was truly worth it, and I highly recommend it.
