Este edifício foi um palácio, uma fortaleza, a residência de Isabella I de Castela e Fernando II de Aragão, uma prisão, foi declarada Patrimônio Cultural em 1931 e parte do Patrimônio Mundial pela UNESCO em 1994. O conjunto arquitetônico tem um caráter sóbrio em seu exterior e é esplêndido em seu interior, com os magníficos jardins e pátios que mantêm uma inspiração mudéjar.
O Monumento aos Amantes em Córdoba representa a duradoura história de amor de Ibn Zaydun e Wallada bint al-Mustakfi, figuras proeminentes da história da Andaluzia. Apresentando uma estátua com as duas mãos, é um local cultural cativante e um destaque do nosso passeio.

Apesar do seu pequeno tamanho, a importância cultural e histórica da sinagoga faz dela uma atração imperdível em Córdoba. Visitaremos a sinagoga sempre que possível. Às vezes, longas linhas se formam na rua estreita que leva à sinagoga, causando atrasos significativos. A sinagoga está fechada durante todo o dia às segundas-feiras e nas tardes aos domingos e feriados. Se não pudermos visitar o interior, que geralmente leva cerca de 5 minutos, explicaremos o monumento do lado de fora. A sinagoga de Córdoba é um edifício muito pequeno com espaço interior limitado.
A Capela de San Bartolomé em Córdoba, Espanha, é uma capela histórica conhecida pela sua bela arquitetura mudéjar. As contribuições de Al-Gafequi estenderam-se a estudos detalhados da anatomia e doenças oculares, marcando-o como uma figura central na história da medicina e da oftalmologia.
A Faculdade de Filosofia e Letras de Córdoba, Espanha, está instalada no edifício histórico que já foi o Hospital del Cardenal Salazar. Com o tempo, passou de uma instituição médica para se tornar um centro de ensino superior. Desde a sua criação em 1971 como Colégio Universitário da Universidade de Sevilha, e mais tarde como Faculdade da recém-formada Universidade de Córdoba em 1973, o edifício tem sido um marco educacional e cultural significativo. Passou por ampliações e reformas na década de 1990 para acomodar novos programas acadêmicos, como História da Arte, Humanidades e, posteriormente, Tradução e Interpretação. Hoje, é uma mistura de arquitetura histórica e instalações acadêmicas modernas, contribuindo para o legado acadêmico de Córdoba.
No início, era a Basílica Visigótica de São Vicente, que costumava ser uma mesquita e, depois, uma catedral cristã. É uma das construções mais interessantes do mundo.

The ruins are very interesting and still surprisingly intact in much of the site. Our guide Pilar was very knowledgeable about the history of the site and specific aspects of it.

This tour was great and really informative. We really learned a lot about the history of the Mezquita and how it has transformed over time across the different eras. Unlike some other tours I did in Spain, this one was worth the money.

Absolutely superb experience, marvellous sites , incredible history. A must do if your in Cordoba, Maria was my guide for the Alcazar which was incredible, she was knowledgeable and such a great guide. The second part of my tour was with Paki for the Mesquit of Cordoba, the Mosque and she was equally great. Very knowledgeable and her explanation of the history was brilliant. Both spoke English well and woukd definitely recommend . The communication on the day of the tour from them was excellent
