Vanessa and Lee were excellent guides and put together a great tour. All four restaurants they chose for the tour had great foods and wines with unique offerings. It was great to see parts of Sorrento that we never would have visited without the tour. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sorrento.
Vanessa and Lee were excellent hosts with an in depth knowledge of the Sorrento food and wine culture. Every place they took us was first class. I’ve been to Sorrento many times but only recently as a solo traveller. I was so pleased I’d chosen booked it as I had a great night in the company of lovely people.
Superb food tour and a must do when visiting Sorrento. We had the pleasure of experiencing an exclusive tour (by default) with the 2 fantastic hosts, Vanessa and Lee. It was a brilliant evening, enjoying delicious food, wonderful wine and excellent company. Thanks again ladies for such a great time!
My group really appreciates the hospitality shown to us by our hosts and also each business that accommodated our group. It was a journey through food and wine and quite a lovely experience. Well, what can I say. If you're looking for fabulous home cooked, authentic Sorrentine food, wonderful local wines, fun, friendly & knowledgeable guides and to find some of the hidden treasures that Sorrento has to offer then you simply must book the progressive dinner tour with Gourmet Girls. Every mouthful was fantastic and the wines were delicious too. Lee & Vanessa go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and you can see the passion that they have for Sorrento. Absolutely brilliant night and I would thoroughly recommend giving it a go.
Authentic and fun tour that was informative as well as delicious! Great for a solo traveller with an inclusive atmosphere for all ages. We were taken off the tourist trail and sampled many dishes of the region. Went back to some of the restaurants throughout my trip and was welcomed like an old friend. Lee and Venessa are incredibly knowledgeable and offer a truly unique tour. 🫶🏻
This tour was amazing! We always go on a food tour in a new city and this one was our favorite to date. It was very well curated and organized, with local specialties and well-informed history and information about Sorrento cuisine and culture. We loved it!
This was the best experience ever. The girls are so knowledgeable about the area and all the amazing food.we went to many local restaurants and try so many amazing local dishes and wines! We made so many new friends too.It's not just a tour,this was definitely an Experience! The group was small so you can actually enjoy all the experiences.DEFINITELY book this early when you're in Sorrento so you can find the local spots to go back to!
