I purchased the tickets in October 2024 for February 2025. In December 2025 we got an email from Italy pass saying the prices of the tickets doubled for 2025 and we needed to send 15 Euro more by bank transfer. We agreed. Then they told us 45 Euro. I have read this is a scam and we should use the official Iffuzzi website. Trip Advisro, you need to block these scammers.
hello dear Leslie, we are sorry for the inconviniece as well as the confusion, because before gallery used to sell the uffizi tickets for the low season with half amount of high season, their sudden change of heart affected all of us.
Olga at the Accademia gallery was excellent. We also enjoyed the morning guide. The problem is that you are very disorganized: where to meet? We kept asking other guides. Signs not at Uffizi. We thought we needed to get tickets ourselves . We waited on a long line at the Uffizi and then it was not clear if you provided tickets. At the Accademia land park for meeting was not provided. Frankly it was so crowded and hot in April in the Uffizi I would just skip it. People should know when off hours are. I would hate to try to see anything in July and August. We paid a lot of money for your guides and skip the line. We expected better instructions.
Knowledgeable tour guides. Museums were very crowded and 1 hour each was only sufficient to see the masterpieces.
We only were able to visit the Academy Gallery, as there was confusion at the beginning of our tour. On our e-mail confirmation, it stated in two different locatiosn that we must "present our ticket at the redemption point to receive your entry ticket.". And then under "How to Redeem", it lists "Redemption Points"- Uffizi Gallery, Piazza San Marco . We thought that meant you could go to either location to redeem your entry tickets. Becuase our hotel was right next to the Piazza San Marco, we went there to redeem our tickets. After a couple of phone calls, we realized we were supposed to have been at the Uffize Gallery. Someone met us from Italy Pass Tours and informed us we missed our tour of the Uffizi, but we were in luck, because this day the museum was actually free for everyone. He took us down to the Ufizi and helped us get in, but we had no guide for this museum. Italy Pass Tours then booked us for the Academy Gallery tour in the afternoon, where we did have a wonderful guide to explain the history and some of the wonderful art items, including "The David" inside. I feel the customer service was nice and they really did try and accommodate us, but I feel their instructions are a little mis-leading. For this tour- don't worry about "redeeming your tickets"- just go straight to the Departure Point.(Which is also a little confusing because it lists both the Uffizi Gallery and Piazza San Marco once again). We didn't quite get what we paid for, or what we were expecting, but overall we had a good visit to Florence.
Good Afternoon, We totally understand the confusion. When we want to create a product, if there is more than one museum, the system asks for each meeting point for every museum so, in the end, you have two or three meeting points on the voucher. We are trying to improve the directions to make them more clear for the clients. Thank you very much for your feedback. Best Regards, Italypass
