Todo o seu equipamento e suprimentos são transportados por carregadores e um cozinheiro prepara todas as suas refeições. Ao contrário da Rota Marangu, onde você dorme em cabanas, no Machame você dorme em tendas (tendas estão incluídas), e os carregadores montam sua barraca para você. As refeições são servidas em uma barraca de jantar ou em um cobertor do lado de fora. Isso torna o Machame, que é chamado de "Rota do Uísque", mais adequado para os caminhantes mais aventureiros, e também o recompensa com vistas melhores do que outras rotas. Desde o pôr-do-sol no final da tarde em Shira, até as revelações enevoadas da grande Muralha Barranco de Kibo, a Rota Machame oferece ao caminhante ousado uma contínua exibição de slides cênica.

From the very beginning there no doubt Zara tours are extremely professional and kind people. We were treated far better than what we hoped for!! The first 4 days a walk were very easy while the 5th day was incredibly difficult!

The experience with Zara Tours has been excellent. We have felt great support from the beginning and you feel part of a team. Our guide John and the second guide Justin were very understanding with us and facilitated and enriched the experience a lot. We did the Machame route in 6 days. Very good experience and very good team. John has a lot of experience and knowledfe toshare and walking with Justin was very enjoyable and fun. The porters and cook team were also great and they make a big effort on the whole process. Couldn't have done it without them!

It was a great experience. Zara have the expertise and the infrastructure other companies clearly don’t have up in the mountain. Their experience really makes the difference in extreme situations you can encounter during the route.
