Classe de Workshop de Máscara de Veneza

A must do with kids. In a little over 2 hours we were able to create 5 beautiful custom masks. A fun unique experience. This was a real Venetian papier-mâché mask. Traveled with ages from 9-70 and everyone enjoyed it!

Such a welcoming space to create a beautiful souvenir for my time in Venice. I had so much fun creating and painting my mask - a memory for all time. My mentors were so informative and encouraging - allowing me to have a go as much as I was comfortable and providing guidance when my creative mind got blocked. I recommend this workshop for all ages and abilities

We have kids ranging from 5-15 and this was a great activity for our whole family. Jacamo was awesome, helpful and engaging!

The mask workshop in the studio "Sogno Veneziano" was fantastic and will definitely stay in our dream memory. Daniel, an art student, not only taught us historical background about the masks, but also gave us excellent advice and support. Daniel’s experience and inventiveness and the material provided inspired us so much that we could well have attached two more creative hours. Thanks to Daniel’s patient and tireless help, we were able to take wonderful mementos home at the end of the course. Daniel, who worked so empathetically with us and his understanding boss, we would like to thank him warmly for the wonderful experience.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Drew diagrams on the mask for me to copy. Lots of colours available and happy to mix more. Easy location to find.

Mom and I decided to have the 1h mask workshop, which was one of the highlights of our trip to Venice. We could have a nice talk with our "coach" who shared about her experience with the Venezuelan carnival, her work over the last years and how passionate she is. It can be helpful to know that the workshop you decide is not just about the time (1h or 2h) but what the value would propitiate to use in your mask as well. For us, it was fine, but if you have some expectations of what to have on your mask and you are not sure if the workshop price you picked covers it, it could be interesting to ask before. Our masks arrived perfectly after our backway flight.

A fun activity with lovely, patient, knowledgeable staff. My eight year old had a blast. One of his favourite activities so far. I highly recommend!

Venice is actually a very crowded (as well as beautiful) place and this provided a peaceful and happy break from the chaos. It was nice to spend time with a genuine Venetian artisan in a creative activity. Our masks turned out pretty well too! We were two adults and a 9 year old child. It would have been good to get a bit more direction and advice on painting our masks, as it was pretty much just choosing a mask and painting it, and would have been good to hear more about the history and the tradition of masks, but all of us enjoyed this experience anyway. Recommended.

I knew this was going to be fun. My husband and older daughter were not sure. Well they loved it and our masks are beautiful! We had 2 smaller grade school kids. Sonja will help you make your mask beautiful. This was such a great family experience. She and her partner were delightful and fun! So this!

My kids (6 and 8) had so much fun in this workshop, picking a mask, painting it and embellishing it with jewels, feathers and gold leaf decorations. We did the 2 hour workshop and it was the perfect length to complete a fully decorated mask. We also learned about how the masks are made in molds using special paper mache, and the references in some of the designs. I highly recommend this as a family activity in Venice!
