My guide was flexible and prepared with an alternative stop since I booked for a day when Lak Virss was closed. The tour of the Natural History Museum was fascinating. The Pakistan Monument is moving and beautiful, and the Faisal Mosque immense and awe-inspiring. I especially appreciated that my guide arranged for me to access the women's area. We drove around different areas of the city to see various points of interest and ended in Saidpur, with its intriguing Hindu shrines.
WATCH OUT!! The driver never arrived. We were waiting at the hotel lobby for 2.5 hours after we had received a call telling us they’d be a little late due to traffic. Next thing, the phone that rang us is switched off completely and we know nothing else from them. Had to find a different alternative as we only had that 1 day to see Islamabad.
