City Tour Privado

I booked the Private City Tour with Lima City Tours and it was an incredible experience. The guide was very knowledgeable, friendly, and made the history of Lima come alive. We visited the main highlights at our own pace, which made the tour feel very personalized. A perfect way to explore the city in comfort and depth.

A very good experience, our guide was super friendly and attentive throughout. We were picked up at the hotel at the agreed time, we met many places of interest such as the Plaza de Armas, the church of San Francisco, the Jiron de la Union and more. I will definitely contact you again for my next tour.

We booked a tour with Lima City tours in advance as we had 2 days in Lima. We did have to pre-pay part of the tour. Once we arrived at Miraflores the Cruise drop off in Lima, we couldn't see a sign with our name as promised - as we were 5 Min early we started to walk up and down and look at all the guides/traxidrivers waiting but couldn't see a sign, we waited for 2 more buses to arrive and drop off people and also were close to the bus exist - but we couldn't find any sign for us. We did not have a local phone/data plan and were unable to contact Jhnony. We did a tour with one of the locals - after being back on the ship we contacted Jhnoy right away as we also booked an evening tour and we wanted to make sure that there is really someone to pick us up, as we arrived again there was no sign, after walking around for another 10 Min my husband saw a person with a white folded paper and walked to him - sure enough that was our sign except we couldn't see it. To top it off they wanted us to pay then for the whole morning tour too. We were accused that it is our fault - as I do not think it is me to have to hold up the sign. In the end we paid still less money to take a local taxi driver who (after we talked to fellow cruise members) did the same tour as we did. Only difference is that we likely got less back ground information and history but that is not a big deal for us. And we also never got our pre-paid money back - as we got told we did not show up (but we did wasted nearly an hour including both times searching for them)

Jhony went out of his way to accommodate us. He was punctual on time and made sure we stay together as group. You wont find a better tour at the same affordable price. Thanks Jhony

We were happy for the good service. We came to know several places of interest in the city of Lima. Recommended for walking with friends.

Booked and paid for a private city tour before leaving the UK. Communication from Jhony was good at that stage. However, we were badly let down. Failed to turn up at our hotel and could not make contact via the mobile or office numbers. We were only in Lima for a day and a half and this shoddy treatment ruined our stay as we spent almost an entire morning just waiting around. Do think twice before using this company or Jhony as they/he appear to have done this on more than one occasion - see other reviews. The only saving grace is that our money was refunded but that does not make up for the disappointment.

We have done a tour of different areas of Peru with the services of Lima tours. It is amazing your punctuality and exquisite treatment towards us. We were very quiet in his hands. It's been a success to have them. All the carriers drivers and guides are polite, caring, excellent treatment. Special mention to Marcelino, our guide two days to Machu Picchu, has attended us in everything , always watching our well-being and transmitting his knowledge and affection for his country and customs. I unexpectedly ended up stranded in Lima overnight due to poor weather conditions in Cusco. My hotel, Wyndham/airport arranged this tour for a few of us. Maria & Diego picked us up from our hotel, taking us for an evening tour of Lima. Maria was extremely knowledgeable of the city and history, and even made dinner reservations for us, dropping us off at our restaurant at the end of the tour. It was a great way to spend 4 hours in the city.

Hire the Lima City Tour. I do not recommend it at all, I paid USD40 for a super short tour (I was told 4 hours and it was 2), and greatly reduced explanations. Besides, Huaca Pucllana was only seen through the door (we did not enter). I was honestly surprised, with so many positive reviews the agency has, how depressing the tour was.
