Josh was an exceptional tour guide. He is an excellent driver and incredibly knowledgeable about the areas we visited and the animals that we saw, sharing fascinating insights throughout the day. He was friendly, articulate, and gave clear instructions and directions that made everything easy and enjoyable. His professionalism and enthusiasm really enhanced the entire experience. We had a fantastic day on this tour! Our pick up location was convenient and the van was spacious and comfortable. It was nice to have a small tour group. The tour guides (Adam in the AM, Josh in the PM) kept us safe and were very informative and entertaining! The morning tour included visits to the Brighton beach boxes and Queen Victoria market, and a stop on the F1 race tracks was an unexpected treat! We drove through Melbourne and St Kilda while learning about the history of the city and getting tips on where to eat, shop and visit. This is perfect way to start off your stay in Melbourne and to help plan your itinerary. After the morning city tour, there is an hour lunch break until the tour resumes in the afternoon. Feeding the kangaroos and wallabies at Moonlit Sanctuary was such a fun experience. The grand finale penguin parade was so special to see, and the tour guide gave insider tips on where to get the best view. Definitely upgrade to the Penguin Plus viewing when you book. This entire day was a hightlight of our Australia trip. I highly recommend this tour during your visit to Melbourne!

What we seen was good and fairly well explained. No real history of early days in Melbourne and way too much talk about all the sport facilities. Phillip Island is worth the trip. The van we had to ride in was absolutely terrible. We got in van at 8:00 AM and did not get back to our hotel until 10:00 PM. The van had no suspension, no shocks, solid hard seats that would not recline. Noises and when driver hit potholes or rumble strips you bounced to roof. It was an old beat up van. Terrible

This was an amazing day. Fred was a super great guide with many stories! He was very knowledgeable and I highly recommend doing a tour with him. Only negative comment was the van was quite uncomfortable for such a long day!!

Wonderful tours as hosted by Fred & Travis! The City tour was well documented with good stories; I loved seeing the oldest building in Australia as well as driving on the F1 track. The afternoon trip to Phillip was very memorable particularly given Travis' recommendations on how best to handle my "general" reservation. Travis was full of knowledge about all types of wildlife on Phillip Island!

The tour organized by Oceanis Tours was excellent and mind blowing..The driver and the tour guide Fred was just amazing..He took extra care for one of our family members who has mobility issues..Just book the tour through them and be rest assured that it will be one of the best tours of your life ..They will not say no to any of your needs Keep Going Fred and Team

We got picked up for our morning tour of the city, and it was a perfectly fine tour, and part of why I am giving any "stars". We got dropped off at the Skydeck where we were told we would get picked up at 2 for the second half of our tour. We were at the meeting point before 2. An Oceania Tours driver came by, picked up one person, and told us that another bus would be coming for us, that the traffic was really bad so they were all running behind. We waited until 3 before I called to see where our bus might be. We were told that we weren't booked for a tour that day. I said, "that is ridiculous, because your bus dropped me off here 3 hours ago, so I am absolutely on a tour today". The further they looked into it, they realized their "system" hadn't added us to the second half of the tour. They asked if we wanted to get an Uber to the Sanctuary, which we would have likely missed most of, and which was part of what I was looking forward to the most. Or we could re-book the second half the next day, which didn't work because we had a full schedule. Or they offered us a full refund. We took the refund, and it came through pretty quickly, so they did make us whole. However, I really wanted to do the full tour. I was upset that we were forgotten and that we wasted 3 hours, most of which was spent in the heat. This was our 2nd worst tour experience through our entire 3 week trip to New Zealand and Australia. I hesitated to write this review, but I probably would have still booked this tour, and just asked the first driver to call the company to make sure we were on the second half if I had known that was a regular issue. So, by all means, book this tour, but know that you could run into this issue and just plan ahead and ask if you are definitely listed on the second half of the tour. It sounded like it had happened to another couple the day before, and the person who handled my phone call said it was a known issue, so the company should really work to get that problem solved, so their customers don't have to do the extra work of verifying what should already be known, especially if they are mid-tour.

The Melbourne City Tour was very informative with a great guide seeing several sites in three hours. We were dropped off for a two hour lunch on our own at the Eurika Skydeck by the Yarra River and had a wonderful lunch overlooking the river. We were picked up at two by a different guide to go to Phillip Island. There was a wonderful stop at a sanctuary to see several Australian animals. We stopped at several places on Phillip Island finally stopping where we would have dinner and watch the evening penguin parade. It was all amazing. We were dropped off at our hotel after midnight. I think if we were to do this again, we might take two separate tours rather than combining them but we loved the entire day and evening!

Kevin, our guide, was great but there was a mess-up in picking us up after the first part of the tour and it was very confusing after we were dropped off for lunch and skydeck on our own. . Better communication is needed in pickup locations and Viator should have done a better job letting us know how long the tour lasted-one quote was 13 hours yet when I called they said we would be done by 5pm and then the tour actually lasted from 8:30am-11:30pm—-15 hours. Viator did not did a good job in communicating the itinerary of what Oceania tours would do. The itinerary was a bit different.
