The guide was very informed and funny. Very entertaining while providing good points on the places we visited. Very helpful about other things vietnamese related.
Well spoken, friendly, full of life
Very nice tour. We took half a day and were satisfied with this. There was a very good communication about the course of the day the day before. The hat Village was charming. We got a good explanation from our tour guide Louisa. Afterwards we were allowed to decorate our own hat. This was definitely fun for the kids. Then we visited the incense factory. It was nice to experience the whole process in a very authentic way. Also the photo place was nice to do. Recommended for those who want to escape from the busy city
The incense village was cute, not what I was expecting it was way smaller but cute, the experience of making incense was great, hat making was fun. Our tour guide Iris while she was very knowledgeable and answered every question, and made BEAUTIFUL photos for us in the village which I really appreciate, I feel like she lacks people skills. Regret to say most of the tour felt rushed and not very fun. Overall I wouldn't say it was a great experience throughout the day but an average one, and it all came down to how impatient Iris came across. I'd still recommend doing the tour because making the incense and painting hats was fun, but comparing it with other tours I had in Hanoi and my experiences with other guides and how fun they made it, I wouldn't recommend it as a priority.
It was a very enriching and interesting experience; everything is provided for you to immerse yourself in Vietnamese culture! Louisa was nice; she shared some jokes that created a good atmosphere in our group. The driver was also very kind; both of them spoke English very well. A little tip: no need to bring your hat for photos in the village; they lend them out. And if you are alone, do not worry; they can take your photo.
Interesting tour with a chance to learn about local traditions and crafts. We especially appreciated visiting small family-run craft workshops, which felt authentic and gave a good insight into local life. For a half-day tour, however, quite a lot of time was spent driving between locations, and the van could have been more comfortable given the road conditions. Overall, a good experience.
Louisa our guide was fabulous. We really enjoyed our visit to the villages and her sharing of information about Vietnamese culture and history. The prison and temple visits were really impactful and gave us a deeper understanding of the Vietnamese people. Thank you Louisa for a very insightful day.
Such a magic experience. Louisa spoke excellent English and kept us entertained all morning with interesting facts and stories. She also took amazing photos for us. Highly recommend.
It was a great experience to the incense and Vietnamese hat industry. Our tour guide Sabrina was great she had the right mix of knowledge and light humor and out right nice personality. I felt the energy and passion she has for here culture and people. I highly recommend for people that interested in beauty and culture but suitable for anyone looking for a fun experience with some culture and knowledge supporting the local economy of the village doing this trades for generations . It also offers some fun arts and crafts.
I had a good time experiencing the craft villages! It's a nice intro to how people create traditional products.Kevin is great !!!
