We had a great time seeing all the sights with our guide William. Great communication, answered all questions before the tour and willing to accommodate any wishes we had on the day. Highly recommended.
Chongqing is incredibly large and the ‘must sees’ are spread throughout the city. This tour with our excellent guide Eunice !!! provided a wonderful and fascinating overview of the city. The restaurant chosen for lunch served wonderful food!!!
I joined the Chongqing city tour today, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. The day already started poorly. I was asked to be ready at my hotel at 7:40 a.m., but the driver only arrived at 8:00 a.m. Then I was told that the second guest would not be picked up until 8:45 a.m., even though the drive between our hotels was only about 10 minutes. As a result, I spent almost an hour waiting and sitting in the car before the tour had even properly started. A third participant never showed up. The biggest disappointment, however, was the guide. Her English skills were extremely limited, and she was unable to explain the sights or answer even basic questions. Throughout the entire day there was almost no interaction and virtually no information about Chongqing, its history, culture, or the places we visited. No matter what I asked, she could not provide an answer. I understand that not every guide can speak perfect English, but if an English-speaking tour is offered, the guide should at least be able to communicate and provide meaningful information. Whether the issue was a lack of English skills or insufficient knowledge, the result was the same: I learned almost nothing during the tour. Considering the price of 670 RMB (around CHF 80), I feel that the experience offered very poor value for money. Compared with many other tours I have taken, this was by far one of the weakest. I strongly recommend better training and qualification of guides to ensure that future guests receive the experience they are paying for.
Thank you for choosing us. We are sincerely sorry for all the unpleasant experiences. We will verify all the issues you mentioned with the tour guide and take appropriate action. We will continue to improve our service.
This full-day tour was the highlight of our time in Chongqing. The city's wild, multi-level "8D" layout has to be seen to be believed, and having a small group made the whole day feel relaxed and personal rather than rushed. Our guide, Eunice, was fantastic. She was warm, genuinely passionate about her city, and incredibly knowledgeable about the history, culture, and all the little details you'd never catch on your own. She knew exactly when to share a story and when to give us space to take it all in, and she navigated Chongqing's famously confusing layout effortlessly. She also went out of her way to make sure everyone in the group felt included and looked after. The pacing was excellent, the sights were stunning, and Eunice's recommendations made the experience even richer. If you're visiting Chongqing, do yourself a favor and book this tour. Ask for Eunice if you can. Highly recommended!
The guide was engaging and covered all the major sights and explained some of the history.
Great way to experience these key spots in just one day and its guided - and navigation was easier esp when I dont speak Chinnese.
We had an excellent experience on this Chongqing city tour. The itinerary was very well designed and covered all of the city’s iconic highlights, including Hongya Cave, Liziba Station, the Yangtze River Cableway, Longmenhao, Kuixinglou, and several fascinating viewpoints that truly showcase Chongqing’s unique “8D” urban landscape. What made the experience exceptional was our guide, Eunice. She was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly well organized throughout the day. Her English was excellent, and she provided interesting historical and cultural insights that helped us better understand Chongqing’s history, architecture, and local lifestyle. Eunice was also very attentive to the needs of the group, ensuring that everyone was comfortable, knew where to meet, and had enough time to enjoy each stop. She was happy to answer questions, offer local recommendations, and share personal insights about the city, which made the tour feel much more authentic and engaging. Chongqing can be an overwhelming city for first-time visitors due to its size, geography, and complexity, but Eunice made everything easy and enjoyable. Thanks to her guidance, we were able to appreciate both the famous landmarks and the unique character of the city. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Chongqing, and especially recommend requesting Eunice as your guide if possible. She was a major reason why our experience was so memorable.
Could see the most important touristic spots. Well organized with driver always available. William explained everything very well.
We would not recommend. Itinerary was scheduled to end at 5 PM, we came back almost two hours early.
We apologize that the activity did not fully meet your expectations. Our tour starts at 8:00 AM in the morning, with a total duration of approximately 7–8 hours, and ends around 4:00 PM in the afternoon.
We had a great tour with William he explained everything well and answered all our questions. It was a fun and informative time in Chongquing. We are here for only two days and we saw so much and it’s totally worth it. He is friendly and my girlfriend was afraid of heights and when we were on the rooftop he played a song on his phone and helped her feel at ease and even took a video of us dancing. Down to earth tour guide, highly recommended!
