Really nice & good tour. Take the best pics! Thanks Russell
Unfortunately, the guide did not show up. We had to explore Chichen Itza by ourself. We claimed refund from Tripadviser. Since 10 days we have not received a response. I keep you updated.
We are very sorry for your dissatisfaction. The guide was waiting at the main entrance of Chichen Itza! Your voucher shows the meeting point and the guide's phone number. Chichen Itza currently has two entrances: one for buses and one for cars. Perhaps you entered through the newer bus entrance. We were waiting for you; we never forget our customers! You could send us a message through the platform or call us so we can locate you.
Staff well organized and attentive to the demands of visitors. We always find an information point. Our well-prepared and knowledgeable guide to Mayan culture
We took the tour with Paulo. He was very well-informed and knowledgeable. We learned a lot about maya culture and the sites of Chichen Itza that we could not have learned just by reading the panels. We highly recommend Paulo!
Spectacular! Don't stop going. An amazing place, but essential to be accompanied by a guide, who will bring all the tips. Very well worth it
Chichen Itza was wonderful and Russell as our guide definitely added to the experience. You can also book a guide right near the ticket booth, for about the same price, but a guide booked in advance confirms that you’ll get a great guide. Russell also had a tablet and included some multimedia to complement the tour. For parking, if you get there early (we arrived about 815am, as we forgot that Cancún/Tulum are an hour ahead of Chichen Itza) you can park in the national park parking lot for 100 pesos. Prior to that parking lot there are lots of folks offering places to park and probably tour guide options too. When we arrived the line was very short for buying onsite tickets. When we left about noon, there was a small line. There are a ton of venders selling art work, etc inside the park. They’re all friendly and not a bother, but you will have lots of options if you want to look around and potentially confirm that you’re getting a fair price. If driving yourself from Tulum, then Cobá is worth a stop on the way back as you can climb the Coba temple and look out over the jungle. The last time up the temple is 330p however. And it is a 2KM walk or short bike ride / petty cab ride from the entrance to the big temple.
Excellent tour definitely recommend. Our tour guide Omar was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic! Totally worth it.
What an expierence! Russell was a top guide! We learned so much! What an interesting day! I really recommend this tour and guide!
Good explanation! I would recommend private tour so you get the attention of your guide. You may have to wait for other people of the tour if they dont come on time
Russell was great. He was tremendously informed and enthusiastic about Myan culture. I definitely recommend this tour.
