Best scenic place in and around Kathmandu, car drops at the booking counter for cable car, here get 25% discount on tickets for senior's above 60 years, reaching hills in cable car is exciting with full of scenic surroundings, on the top there is Shiva temple, games and restaurant and very beautiful surrounding and its very cool place.

Chandragiri with its bubble cable car ride is a must for any tourist into Kathmandu. It offers magnificient views of the Kathmandu valley just as it did entice the first king PRITHVI NARAYANAN SHAH. The cool breeze wafting around the BHALESWARA SIVA temple on top is an unforgettable experience. It is said that the forehead of SATI DEVI, his dead wife fell on this spot while he roamed the world making it a powerful Siva- Shakthi Stal of pilgrimage. The area is clean and offers a scenic restaurant where the local cuisine momos has to be tasted. Tripadvisor helped me plan the trip and Iam grateful for their help.

Stunning views. The Himalayas showed up. Lucky. The cable car was a remarkable experience as was the zip line. Both felt safe. Food and drinks available to buy. Temple visit and legend with it good. Several play areas for children. We had pre purchased tickets which enabled us to avoid the queue. I recommend this.

We had the most remarkable family tour under Mr Jian and team . Everything was perfect, we felt in every instance your guidance, support and truly cared about us, both the kids and adults, and did the best to make this trip memorable...we enjoyed it..Well organised especially the stay and hotel arrangements made our days so special...Heartfelt thanks to Mr suresh, he was not only the best driver but good friend too

Excellent guide but horrible day to ascend the hill to see the mountain ranges! Not the guides fault and we made the best of it…
This trip takes you up around 1000m above Kathmandu. The cable car is only 9 years old and feels very safe. Potentially the view would be amazing however unluckily it was very cloudy for us which is obviously a risk. Found the company easy to deal with and our guide Dharma was very friendly.
We bought this tour thinking that we could have a great experience, instead, we had a very expensive taxi drive. I WANT A REFUND, because, there is a shuttle bus for free that can make the same that this "tour". I DONT RECOMMEND TO BUY IT, BETTER TAKE A TAKE AND SAVE YOUR MONEY.
Thank you for your review Paulina Firstly, Taxi and company car is two different things. Taxi doesn't take any kind of responsibility for you. Many traveller had problems because of this. In order to solve this problem, we started to provide you company vehicle, which is slightly expensive but we take all the responsibility and take care of your safety. And also free shuttle bus has one only fixed destination which is not convenient for every traveler because it is far from tourist places so we sell cars from hotel to hotel.
A must do when visiting Kathmandu. My guide Dharma was wonderful as was our driver (I’m sorry I didn’t write down your name). He was early for my pickup and very polite and friendly. As a solo female traveller, I felt VERY SAFE, and kept checking on my well-being. Which was very kind. Lots of laughs and his knowledge is very impressive. We couldn’t see Everest or the mountain range as was cloudy in the distance at the top. As a foreigner the charge is USD$22 for the cable car. Your notes have to be PRISTINE. I had a $1 bill that had a minuscule corner fold maybe 3mm. It was not accepted. ( not fault of Dharma) Would highly recommend.

chandragiri hils tripe is one of the best tour from Kathmandu this is beat way to see mountain view and Kathmandu valley seen . thank you adventure vision for wonderful time
