It was the highlight of my trip! We met with 3 generations of these women. It was fantastic. My husband and I totally enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone. The food was excellent and they were so welcoming in the Nonna’s home. We were made to feel like family.
This experience was just amazing! We had the best time with Fernanda and her family! The house was very cosy! The cooking class was what we expected and the food was delicious! We spent even more time than 3 hours there. We laughed and talked a lot... We would do it again!
Fernanda snd her family welcomed us warmly. We prepared and enjoyed pasta assissina together with appetizers, wine, and dessert. Her husband even sang some opera for us! Definitely recommend!
We had a great night! The cooking was fun, the food simple and delicious! We felt very comfortable and welcome in a beautifully renovated home in Bari old town. The evening was very relaxed and informative with conversation about the local area, local food and places to visit. A trip highlight, Highly recommend! Grant and Leisha - NZ
Valentina's hospitality was very evident as soon as we stepped inside her house. She shared the history of the dishes we prepared, and include personal experiences with her family regarding these dishes. We had a fun conversation over dinner and would like to engage with her again for other Italian food cooking lessons.
I had a wonderful time with the Ceserine Albertini family! They made me feel like family the moment I walked in the door. It reminded me of the times of making homemade pasta my grandmother when I was a little. The meal we prepared was delicious made with wholesome ingredients and I recommend this tour to anyone going through Bari. Thank you so much Fernanda, Frank and Sarah!
My sister and I were excited to attend a cooking class in the home of a real Italian from Bari. Juanita met our expectations and more. She welcomed us into her spotless home where we made several recipies including ravioli. She was warm and informative. After, we sat and enjoyed our meal with a glass of Prosecco. I would highly recommend Juanita!!
This cooking class was absolutely incredible! Sara and her daughter Valeria were very informative and kind to show us how to make Tiramisu, homemade focaccia bread with tomato and onion and homemade pasta!
We had a great cooking experience with Anna and her friend making 3 types of pasta and Tiramisu. They were both very welcoming and excellent teachers. This was followed by a 3 course meal including our homemade Tiramisu and delicious chocolate liquor in Anna's living room. This was a highlight of our trip to Italy and we would highly recommend Anna
A short 15 minute Sunday taxi drive from our cruise ship brought us to the apartment on Fernanda and Franco. We were warmly greeted by an Italian “Nona”. Google translator was a great aid in communicating as we spoke no Italian and they knew little English. We prepared tiramisu first as this needed to chill. We enjoyed Prosecco while learning to make orechiette pasta. By the time we were into the first hour we were all laughing and singing Italian songs together. Franco has a great voice. Fernanda’s helper, Carmen, was singing and dancing along. The meal was terrific and we got to eat our own tiramisu for dessert. We had so much fun we overstayed our three hours and loved it all.
