Caving in Arrábida Natural Park, Setúbal, Sesimbra, near Lisbon

As the final highlight of our trip to Lisbon, we booked a full adventure day (caving + coasteering) with WIND as a group of 44 people. And I have to say, the caving was incredible! Most of us had never tried caving before, so it was a completely new experience for us. During the tour, we explored a cave in Arrábida Natural Park. Secured with carabiners, we climbed down into the cave, made our way through narrow passages and climbed back out again at the end. Along the way, the two guides told us a lot about the animals, vegetation and the caves in the park, which was really interesting. We also stopped at a viewpoint with a beautiful view of the coast. Of course we took some photos there as well. The tour itself lasted about an hour and a half and before that we had a short safety briefing and received our equipment. A big thank you to the guides who led us safely through the cave and were always very engaged and passionate. Also thanks to Rafael and Sandra, who helped organize everything with us beforehand and on site. Thank you for this wonderful day! Definitely recommend this if you are looking for something a bit different and adventurous near Lisbon.

It was AMAZING. This was our first time caving. It was a quite good path for beginners. Although it was raining and rocks were slippery, the guide led us through with no problem at all - he's a very nice and caring person, which really loves his job :)

The park where the cave is located has beautiful beaches and lots of adventure activities. The company owner and guide were very professional and had excellent communication with me both before and after my caving trip. The cave was beautiful and had several karst features.. The trip was adventurous and fun.

Enterprise was very professional, always safeguarding the safety conditions and having been the information transmitted clearly and succinctly.

Using our 'Odisseias' voucher, my partner and I chose the 4-hour caving experience (Experiência de Espeleologia – Nível 1) for a bit of adventure. It started with an exciting rappel down a rock face and continued with exploring a cave through a shaft in the mountain, sometimes above ground and sometimes below. Our guide was very knowledgeable and clearly passionate about caving, which made us feel completely safe throughout. The tour was delivered in both English and Portuguese, which was really helpful for the international group we joined. It was exciting, different, and we had loads of fun!

I did the speleology. Spectacular. Guides are very friendly and professional. I want to go back to do the coastering.

We had a brilliant time during our caving expedition. The tour was really enjoyable and educational. Our tour guide Rafael is very knowledgeable and passionate about the area and we learnt a lot both about our surroundings and the activity. We were empowered to set ourselves up on the abseil and guided it was great to feel independent in our activity, it has inspired us to take on more learnings and expeditions of this kind. I really reccommend this experience, on the day the weather wasn't so good so we switched activities to the cave instead of outside on the cliffs and I was really glad that we did, it's something i've always wanted to do. I've been in many caves but never had such an in-depth explanation of my surroundings, the formations and it's history.

We did caving with a group of friends. It was scary in the begining but ended up being obe of the best expiriences ever. The team was very friendly and helpful.
