Joe was great. Fun, friendly, and knowledgeable. You could tell he works hard to make the day as good as it can be. It was our first time fishing with him and we will definitely use him again next time we charter in Tampa.
Our guide Joe was the best. Caught plenty of fish and had a blast. He was very professional and I recommend using him.
Captin Joe knows where the fish are! We caught all kinds of different fish like Mackerel, Snook, Spotted and Silver Trout, Lady fish and Needle fish. We would definitely book another trip with Joe.

Highly recommended. We’ve been fishing with Joe numerous times, we always catch a ton of fish, he’s extremely knowledgeable and an amazing captain. Lots of guides are looking to save money on gas, time, effort, etc and will stay in a spot way too long, Joe is the opposite, he’s always hunting for the fish and is focused an making sure the guests have an unforgettable experience.

Went with Joe on the skinny water boat and chose to do artificial , to test my skills on one of the toughest fish in Tampa. Not only did Joe put us on the reds but I learned quite a lot to refine myself as an angler going forward. With options for the big boat for larger groups and live bait or the skiff for skinny water artificial shots Joe has everything you need. 10/10 would go again.
If you’re looking for THE best fishing charter in the area look no further! Slobby Joe’s Charter went above and beyond on my charter. Not only does the guy know the areas around the water like the back of his hand, he even takes it to the next level to make sure you’re having a great time. I lost count on how many fish we landed. What more could you ask for? Extremely knowledgeable captain who also provides great vibes on the boat. Do yourself a favor and book a charter! I’ll be going back again, and sending all my friends and family his way!
