Cappadocia Green Tour com Derinkuyu Nar Lake e Vale Ihlara

Just book it! I wanted a green tour with no factory stops (iykyk) and Darinkuyu under ground city. It took me hours to find one that wasn’t a private tour and I’m glad I found this one! We were lucky to only have 6 in our group today but the max is 12 anyway. We met some really nice people in our group and our guide Shahin was the best. He was so knowledgeable. In my opinion the under ground city would be cool to see but without a guide you wouldn’t have any idea how many interesting details you were missing. There were literally no signs explaining the rooms but we were shown details that gave each room purpose. I believe the price maybe more than other tours but you get what you pay for and I felt like this was well worth the cost.

I’m glad they did because Al the tour guide was HILARIOUS and super knowledgeable. He made sure we spent the right amount of time at each place. The underground city was unforgettable. The van driver, Abu Bakr, was very helpful and kind, especially while helping with my mobility walker, and he kept me company as others went on their hikes etc… The gem store was a highlight, allot at least 200 USD to spend here. As usual, the WESTERN style bathrooms were the best at the museums and the gem store. FYI tips in American dollars were appreciated. Pick up and drop off at the hotel was not only convenient, but necessary given the narrow and steep roads there. Would most definitely recommend!

This tour is unlike all the other “Green Tours” in Cappadocia because the tour had NO sales stops (like a pottery studio, jewelry shop etc.) Even through the tour is more expensive than other comparable ones (including those sold to you by your hotel), our guide, Shahin spent the ENTIRE TOUR TIME teaching us in-depth history on all the places we visited. No sales pitches, no “surprise” stops to random shops. This alone is totally worth the money. Lunch was also at an excellent restaurant. Highly recommended!

Sefer was my guide for this tour and I can’t recommend him enough! He was super knowledgeable, gave us a thorough explanation at each site, and made jokes throughout the day to keep us engaged. He even taught us a little bit of Turkish! As we were driving between stops, we spotted a double rainbow so the driver and Sefer safely stopped on the side of the road for us to take pictures. This tour was absolutely the highlight of my Cappadocia trip!

Our russian tour guide Marina was attentive and informative. The itinerary was very efficient: there was no rush and no time wasted either, as opposed to other green tours that include a lot of shopping stops. This is a great stress-free alternative to rental cars and allows one to see local attractions that are otherwise difficult to reach. Do keep in mind that the time allotted for the Ilhara valley, while sufficient for a nice walk, isn’t enough to reach the churches.

We booked this tour because we had only few days in Cappadocia and it covers the majority of attaction without wasting time in shopping. Our tour guide Müge was very professional and friendly. She gave us a lot of insides explanations. We highly ret this tour !

We did the Green Tour with Ahmed and were very satisfied. Ahmed is a well-informed and professionally trained tour guide. At first glance, the price seems a bit higher than other providers, but this quickly becomes relativized: There are no sales stops, but much more time for the real highlights. We also noticed the flexibility of the pick-up in a particularly positive way. Overall, the tour is less designed for mass, but rather offers an exclusive experience. Clear recommendation for anyone who appreciates quality and authentic impressions.

Even though my English is limited and I could only understand about 60%, I still walked away having learned so much. Focus on Sights, Not Shopping: The itinerary was perfectly balanced between nature and culture. There were no forced shopping stops, except for a final visit to a gift shop where everyone actually had a great time enjoying some Turkish Delights. Manageable Physical Difficulty: While there was a fair amount of climbing and walking, it was well within the average person's fitness level. You don't need to worry too much about the physical demand. Delicious Lunch & Amazing Ayran: The lunch was genuinely impressive.
