A very enrichment and moving experience. I learned many interesting facts thanks to Kate's knowledge of the subject She is also a quite nice person. Besides, I liked that we were a small group because it made the event more personalized. I definitely recommend both tours I signed up for.

Our tour guide was Kate, whom I’d say is a quintessential guide who has boundless knowledge with respect to DDay and its beaches. Our day was spent seeing all the important sites that relate to Juno beach, and all subsequent battles. Our tour was fully comprehensive, and feel we didn’t miss out on anything whatsoever. It was well paced, but not rushed. Our guide Kate is most likely the most knowledgeable person to answer all your questions on the history of the region (beyond WW2). If you wish to have the best guide in Normandy, look no further then her Our day was like no other!

She also speaks several languages, which reflects her remarkable background and knowledge. With a grandfather who served in World War II, she brought a personal connection to the history that added depth and meaning to her explanations. Our guide Matthew brought the day to life for us. His love of history, and his interest and knowledge of WWII in particular, shone through as he shared stories and information throughout the day. His knowledge level was impressive and he answered all of the group’s questions. This small group tour format was perfect and well worth the price.
