Take the boat to Amalfi and the bus to Algiers, to return.

If you are somewhat fit and enjoy physical activity, this hike is really spectacular, the views are really amazing. We had an exceptional tour guide in Antonio. We arrived late due to a taxi driver error, and Antonio was gracias enough to wait an entire 1/2 hr for us. He made the whole experience fun and interesting! Don’t hesitate to book this experience.

Peppe is an amazing host....do not try this hike without a guide. You will miss out on history and safety. Wear good hiking shoes not running shoes which are slippery on rocks

Some sites say it is too touristy, personally we have done it and we absolutely do not regret it. You only have to love hiking and in summer the heat if you start too late. We took our time to enjoy the view and the site. Done at the end of August, we met people but it was not the crowd announced! We could be alone and meet a couple or group of friends after 10-15 minutes. This dirt trail, sometimes steep, with man-made rocks or stairs offers magnificent views below and on the hillside, impressive. We met the shepherd with his herd of goats. Here are directions for the bus ride: We left Naples by blue / white bus SITA AGEROLA 5080, in the small parking lot of Varco Immacotella (sign SITA SOUTH). All buses follow one another at this point, the banner at the top of the bus indicates AGEROLA. This departure is at 8:05 am, arrived at around 9:25 am on the small square of Agerola, many stops en route to the locals. In the square at the top, a sign indicates the direction to follow to access the trailhead. The payment of the bus can be made to the driver and he returns the change if needed..we did not know and we had bought tickets the day before at tabacchi which is located molo beverello, outside the ferry terminal, where we passed, near the snack the one completely on the right, the payment is only made in cash and you are given a ticket that corresponds to the time for a given distance between 2 places, here bus Sita Sud Campania between NAPOLI and AGEROLA 5€, you can make the trip in both directions, no matter the day, as long as the ticket is not composted on the bus. End of the trail in Nocelle, where on the small square we took a delicious lemon granita and with orange juice, local products, delicious and welcome! before going down the stairs to Positano.. exercise for the calves... After visiting Positano and a swim, return to Naples at the end of the day. We took another SITA bus stop Sponda direction Sorrento. The 2 stops according to the chosen direction are not in front of each other, for Sorrento, you have to cross in front of the Sponda stop at the top of Positano on the waterfront and go up the street for 1 km to the sign along the street. Purchase the ticket at a tabacchi at the entrance of Positano, (1 hour) then at the station next door, the train to Naples (line Circumvesuviana many stops including Pompeii) 1 hour also.

Luca was AMAZING! The sweetest most kind guy that knew so many things about the southern Italian culture. Please go on the Path of the Gods hike. Truly one of the most insane experiences. And visit Gino on the way to Nochelle in his family’s lemonade cave!

The tour services provided via ZiaLucy.com are excellent! For the Path of the Gods hike, Lucia arranged both our tour guide and transfers to/from hiking points. We had transportation from our Positanto hotel-to-Bomarano (where you want to start the tour) and then transfer from Nocelle-to-Positano hotel at the end of the hike. The transfers were money well spent. This was an amazing hike - beautiful views in every direction on ancient trails connecting the villages. Our tour guide was Luca and he was outstanding - highlighted fun points of interest, local ways of life and cool history, and managed the hike pacing just right for us. The hike took approximately 3 hours. Notes: Do the hike in the morning; we were picked up at our hotel at 8am and started hike about 9am-ish before the path gets crowded. Take a bottle of water with you.

Luca was my guide for the Path of the Gods hike and he was excellent. He pointed out the best viewpoints and where to take pictures.

We started our hime in Praiano with the intention of hiking to Positano. The first hour was good, just be aware there are about 1000 stairs until you reach the small church. Up to that point, there is a guard rail to prevent you from going off the steps. After the church, there is no guard rail and it is quite scary to traverse the path. We stopped and went back down the way we came up. If the lack of a safety rail doesn’t bother you, I’m sure you will be fine.

Could not recommend the Path of the Gods more -- it was a great, relatively gentle hike (if you're in hiking shape) that was enjoyable from start to finish. Luca was one of the best guide's I've ever had. He was informative and mindful of our desired pace and made the experience that much more enjoyable!

Beautiful hike but it was initially foggy. The views were spectacular once tge fog lifted The hike was a moderate level of intensity with some uphill climbing that at times was kinda hard. We all work out but it still challenged us. Overall it was around 4 miles. Wear really good sneakers or hiking boots as there are alot of rocks. One big highlight was stopping at the shepards house midway up for a snack. He was a real Shepard who took care of goats and donkeys. He prepared homemade goat cheese, wine and fresh tomato’s with bread and honey. Such a cool experience.
