Somos a única empresa que oferece uma autêntica caminhada noturna dentro da Floresta Tropical, na base do majestoso Vulcão Arenal. Além disso, somos a única empresa local certificada como "Amigável para Famílias e Crianças", ideal para desfrutar em família e adequada para todas as idades. Essa experiência acontece em um ambiente 100% natural; não é um ambiente controlado. Os animais vivem em completa liberdade, por isso cada passeio é diferente e os avistamentos podem variar a cada noite. Acompanhados por um guia naturalista especializado, exploraremos as trilhas do Mirador El Silencio. Durante o passeio, procuraremos rãs como a rã-ampulheta, a rã-calça-azul e a icônica rã-arborícola-de-olhos-vermelhos. Também é possível observar insetos exóticos, répteis e cobras. Com um pouco de sorte, poderemos encontrar mamíferos como preguiças, gambás ou tamanduás. Para desfrutar desta experiência em segurança, é essencial usar calçado fechado.

Mergulhe em uma das florestas mais emblemáticas da Costa Rica com nosso passeio noturno em La Fortuna, uma experiência que começa pontualmente às 17h30 e convida você a descobrir a magia da floresta tropical aos pés do imponente Vulcão Arenal. Durante esta caminhada guiada, você aprenderá sobre a história geológica que moldou nosso país, a influência dos vulcões no ecossistema local e as particularidades do clima da região. Ao cair da noite, a selva desperta e você pode observar a incrível flora e fauna noturnas de La Fortuna. Entre os animais que costumamos encontrar estão anfíbios e répteis fascinantes, como rãs-de-vidro, rãs-arborícolas, rãs-da-chuva, sapos-da-floresta-úmida e o sapo-cururu; além de cobras como a cobra-coral, a bocaracá, a cobra-mão-de-pedra e a conhecida terciopelo. Também é possível observar mamíferos como quatis, tatus, gambás, bugios, macacos-de-cara-branca e macacos-esquilo.

O transporte incluído aplica-se apenas a hotéis no centro de Fortuna e a hotéis no trajeto até o Mirador El Silencio. O horário de embarque pode variar entre 30 e 40 minutos antes do início da atividade.

We had an amazing night tour around Arenal Volcano with Nei and Oli! We saw so many animals, and Nei’s knowledge about wildlife, plants and nature made the experience really interesting and educational. It was clear how passionate Nei is and we learned so much along the way. Oli, the driver, was also very friendly and kind-hearted and made us feel comfortable throughout the tour. A wonderful experience and definitely worth it!
We loved this walk! A top favorite of all the activities we did this week. The kids and adults loved seeing all the animals including frogs, snakes, and spiders. Eric was a great guide and we highly recommend this tour!

It's all about the guide. My guide, Eric, was awesome and had an amazing eye. The area covered is not that big so it's suitable for most. Not suitable for those who need an aid for mobility

This was a fantastic experience. On time hotel pickup, friendly and very funny guide Eddy, and we saw snakes; a variety of them, red eyed frogs, scorpions, spiders, freshwater crabs, stick bugs, butterflies and moths, fireflies; he told us to turn off all of our lights for a beautiful night view. We were given lamps, and he offered to take amazing photos for us and it was truly a great experience.. i had a 6 years old with me who was happy and taken care of! 100% would do it again.

Just didn’t think this was worth it at all. Saw spiders, bugs, and a few frogs. Didn’t need to walk through the forest at night for 2 hours just to see bugs. The frogs at the end were neat but not enough to make the whole trip worthwhile.

Our Night Walk takes place in a natural rainforest, where every tour is unique and wildlife sightings vary from night to night. We never use captive animals or artificially place wildlife along the trail, so what we encounter depends entirely on nature, the weather, and the animals' activity. Unlike experiences that focus only on ponds or gardens, our tour is a guided hike through the tropical rainforest at the base of Arenal Volcano. As we explore the forest, we search for a wide variety of nocturnal wildlife, including frogs, snakes, insects, spiders, birds, and mammals in their natural habitat. While many guests are excited to observe these animals and learn about the rainforest ecosystem, we understand that everyone's expectations are different. We appreciate your honest comments, and we're glad you enjoyed seeing the frogs at the end of the tour. Thank you again for visiting us, and we wish you a wonderful rest of your time in Costa Rica.
The experience was great, we had Eric as a guide, he was an awesome guy. Upfront he told us what we were looking for, and what the best places were to look. So that every guest was able to help and find as many animals as we could. The tour took almost 2 hours. And at the end we stopped by the pond were we saw multiple species of frogs and an eyelash viper. We were with a group of total 9 people, which is the maximum. Otherwise you won’t be able to hear the guide anymore. At first the price looked a little too much. But at the end it was a price I would gladly pay again. It is suitable for everyone who is able to walk a maximum of 2km downhill.

The activity turned out to be very interesting and we were able to observe several types of frogs, some spiders, and snakes.

Recommend if you drive - have a reliable car or a rental that can go over some small rocks - the entrance is not far from the main road but a vehicle with good tires is recommended. The tour itself was good and safe especially with our guide. Overall the trails are marked and well maintained. Like any trail - especially in a tropical setting and at night - do not stray from the trail. Wildlife was good and what I expected. If expecting to see a mountain lion or predator like species - keep your expectations down quite a bit as our guide mentioned they exist but overall tend to stay away from humans PLUS not a good idea to confront one of those no matter how tough you think you are. Overall thought the tour was good. Depending on your budget - it may or maybe be a bit on the pricey side compared to others. But I suspect you pay for what you get.
