Caminhada no Parque Nacional da Tijuca e Rapel nas cachoeiras

This was amazing! The foresr was beatiful and the wildlife was out. Our tour gude and repel coach was amazing! He was very knowledgable about rhe forest and was taught us how to repel. I had never done this before but I gained confidence quickly and had so much fun! Highly recommend!

Our tour guide Anderson was amazing, the trip to the waterfall was breath taking, the rappel worth it!!! He made sure to keep checking on us and safely got us to and from. 10/10 highly recommended and do again, rappelling that waterfall will give you a forever amazing memory.

We had an amazing time. Marcelo was so fun and a very experienced rock climber. The hike was challenging enough for us as beginner / intermediate hikers and the rapelling was so much fun. We will definitely be doing it again when we come back. One little note, if you are driving yourself, the meeting point is at a building that looks like a residence (you meet outside the door on the sidewalk). There is no parking nearby. Plan for at least 15 minutes to walk to the meeting point (closest parking is about 1000 meters away).

Rappelling was very fun: we came down a waterfall. Eric was a perfect guide: very prepared and smart! All perfect!

We had a fantastic morning with Marcelo! He was really friendly, gave us loads of information on the area and we felt very safe. The hike and climb through Tijuca was really fun and the waterfall rappel was brilliant! Great quality kit - very safe. We will be back for another activity another time! Thanks Marcelo.

Great adventure with an expert guide, Marcelo. Highly recommend for anyone that is looking for an experience like this while in Rio. We even booked a hike with Marcelo the next day.

I made a cave circuit with my wife and 12-year-old son. The Enterprise provided all preliminary information on-line quickly. The guide, very punctual, was attentive and careful, respecting the rhythm of the group. I highly recommend

Marcello was very professional, friendly and nature conscious. He explained the rappelling so well that my brother and me could do it with see and it was an experience of a lifetime. I would love it do it all over again when i come back to rio..!!!

<p>I really don't know how to rate this tour. The experience was unforgettable but not in a really good way. It started out badly and got worse. The tour operator was not very helpful to say the least. I had opted for a 1pm time but was told that I had been booked at 9am. The day was horrible, rainy and cold. I asked if I could reschedule and was told no. So we went but no real instructions on how it was going to play out. We were told merely to bring a towel and dry clothing. We assumed there would be a place to put dry clothing to change into later. Fat chance. When we finally met our guide Chiago? he was wonderful and very knowledgeable and very encouraging, but we were dropped at a roadside where the hike commenced and so we had to take towel and clothing with us in the rain. We climbed over wet slippery muddy rocks in our walking shoes and finally got to the waterfall drenched and cold and muddy. We expected some gear helmets, gloves? but no. We were put in a harness and helmet, we got a 5 minute crash course on rappelling and then were told to go. We both fell during the downhill climb twice. My grandson's arm was stripped of skin from wrist to elbow and I really thought I was going to drown. I got stuck under the waterfall, could not breathe, was too short for my legs to reach the rock to get back into position. I finally forced myself to move downward and got to the bottom shaken and with bruises and a pretty good gash on my forearm. When asked if we wanted to go again we both said a resounding NO. But then we had to hike back in our wet clothes no sense putting on dry clothing to walk in the rain and no place to undress and our towels were drenched as well. We were not prepared at all by either Viator or the tour company. Chiago was great, but I really think the tour should have been cancelled or rescheduled by the tour company. We were told only the customer can cancel or reschedule but we were not given that opportunity. It was definitely an adrenaline rush and we will never forget it, but just be careful booking this. It is not an easy rappel and if it is raining, don't go.</p>
