Glorious Himalaya Trekking provided excellent service and experience. Pre-trip, Ganesh promptly answered all of my enquiries thoroughly and he was available during the trek as needed. We enjoyed the pre-trek tour of Kathmandu with an excellent guide. Our trekking guide, Ganesh (no relation to Ganesh in Kathmandu) and our porter Yam were friendly, approachable with wealth of knowledge and provided excellent support, helping a couple of mid-60's yo Canadians reach our goal. Also, another guide, Krishna (spelling correct?) who was with us for 2 days was also great. We booked a helicopter from Kathmandu to Lukla, which turned out to be very helpful since the fixed wing flight was postponed the same day to the next day. We opted for the luxury package and all the tea houses with private in-room toilet/shower were clean with dining room offering good food (we selected vegetarian food only). The trek was challenging, especially the day we trekked to EBC. One option to consider is adding an extra night to spread the last day of trekking 20 km to Lukla into 2 days. We certainly would recommend this tour company. John

My trek to Everest Base Camp with Glorious Himalaya was absolutely incredible. They provide amazing service and great communication. They made us feel very well taken care of during the trek. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, supportive, and kind! They were very friendly and answered any questions we had. Our porter was super friendly and helpful during our trek, they were always fun to hangout with. Glorious Himalaya made our trip feel very easy and organized! Glorious himalaya was amazing! They had everything organized from the hotel transport to everything on the trek. We couldn’t have appreciated it more. Our guide, Krishna, was super knowledgeable and had everything sorted for us throughout the whole trek and was great the whole time! We would definately use this company again and would recommend to everyone!

We did this hike March 10 - 24 2026 and it was an incredible experience. Glorious Himalaya paired us with our amazing guide named Rajan. He spoke very good English loved every bit of the hike as much as we did. He had extensive knowledge of the mountains and shared it with us through the entire trek. He also ensured we stayed in the most comfortable accommodations, and seemed to know most of the proprietors personally. He’s also very good at cards, ask him to teach you some local games. The weather at this time of year was great. Most mornings quickly warmed up and we could start the day with fewer layers on. About half the days ended with a light rain that had us eager to warm up at the lodgings. The food was mostly the same through the trek, definitely recommend to listen to the guides suggestions on what to eat as the options become limited as you ascend. Glorious Himalaya was very professional and ensured we were where we needed to be at the right time. I will go through this company again when I return to Nepal.

We did the trek to EBC with our daughter and son-in-law in mid March. Our guide Rajan and two porters Guvan and his brother Deluve were the best. With their kind and helpful manners and their knowledge of the trek. They were all super encouraging and very positive. They were there for us every step of the way. We couldn’t have been in better hands. Everything was planned out perfectly from the tea houses where we stayed to equipment needed for each days trek. I would highly to Glorious Himalayas for anyone seeking to trek around Mt Everest

Since the very beginning, Ganesh was very responsive and answered any question we had. We were greeted at the airport by Danesh, our guide who welcomed us and took us to our hotel. Once at the hotel Ganesh joined us and we had a detailed trip briefing. Ganesh had arranged sleeping bags for us. During the trip,Danesh and our porter were amazing, nothing was too much. On the day we were tired,they adapted the pace and went slower. They really made our trip awesome. We highly recommend Glorious Himalaya for your Everest base camp trip.

We completed the 14 Day Everest Base Camp Trek with Glorious Himalaya in May 2025, and I could not have asked for a better experience. Ganesh (the tour operator) was incredibly responsive and helpful from the very beginning. He promptly answered all our questions and ensured every detail of the trip was organized flawlessly. Ganesh, our tour guide, was caring, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable. He thoroughly prepared us for each day, and prioritized our safety and well-being. His familiarity with the Everest region and his professionalism were evident throughout the entire trip, which contributed to a smooth and enriching experience. This was a phenomenal trekking experience, leaving me with memories to last a lifetime. I would highly recommend Glorious Himalaya to anyone interested in such an experience.

Our group of four (a mix of family and friends - older and young) did the 14 day EBC trek. It was the trip of a lifetime! We were well taken care from start to finish. Although we were a group of four, each of us had slightly different needs that were all addressed, allowing for a seamless experience. For example, many of us had different arrival/departure times and days which the owner - Ganesh made sure hotel reservations and airport transfers were covered. Our personable guide Ganesh (not the owner) and porter Suraj truly had our backs. Through their guidance and support, we successfully completed the trek while taking in the stunning landscape and the local culture. I highly recommend Glorious Himalaya Trekking and hope to return one day to Nepal for another trek.
