We booked a private Lions Head sunset hike with Bike and Hike Tours. We were picked up from our hotel at 3:30 PM and the hike started at 4:00 PM. Our guide Joel was absolutely amazing, he knows a lot of about the local flora and history of the area. He took care about us during the whole hike/climb keeping the safety issues as a first. The hike was so funny, especially the climbing sections secured with ladders and chains, we felt like after the gym. The views from the top and also during the hike were breathtaking. Joel also provided bottles of water and some chocolate bars for us. We can strongly recommend Bike and Hike Tours and will be happy to use their services again.

The Lions Head hike at sunrise is a beautiful. Matt was awesome to ensure that we were safe and comfortable.

I did the Lion's Head Hike and Cape Town's Finest City Bike Tour with Bike & Hike and both were excellent. The Lion's head hike was initially to be Table mountain but due to high winds we switched. Matthew proactively reached out to me to alert me to the wind issue and proposed Lion's head as an alternative which was great as it proved to be an excellent option. The Bicycle tour was also quite enjoyable with comfortable quality bicycles provided as well as a helmet. Skeezo my guide was quite engaging and shared stories and historic background that really made this much more than a bicycle ride. Great company to work with for an active and personalized experience in and around Cape town

We did the hike to Lions head with Bike and Hike before sunrise with Matt as our guide. We had to get up very early to be able to reach the top before the sun came up but it was definitely worth it. The views were absolutely stunning and the experience was amazing. We also arrived at the top before the crowds which made it even more special. Highly recommended day tour.

So much fun and Abie was the best. He was great at helping during the difficult parts and made it a wonderful experience. It does get rocky and a bit challenging so keep that in mind, but the views were amazing.

What a great day! First a hike to Lions Head which was very challenging for me, but our guide Abie made sure I was able to safely complete the entire hike. Than on to Stellenbosch for a farm to table lunch with wine tastings, then a mountain bike adventure. The whole day was fabulous and I highly recommend this company and specifically Abie as a guide.

We started at thursday april the 25 th at 9 in the morning from the parking area nearby the famous wine- restaurant. the weather was great and the whole trip was a great pleasure for us. we were 4 people, two couples from berlin, germany. joel ist a wonderful guide. he knows such alot of things about the history, the landscape and the culture of cape town, the south african people, the society. we discussed during the long hiking tour a lot of questions. joel was so patiently, answered all of our questions
