This experience was not as described. There is no free time as written in the description, there is no kayaking, and the tour ended two hours early. The company said it was visitor’s fault, and Viator said it was the company’s fault. The customer service has been horrible and even when Viator offered a partial refund regardless of the company’s response because I paid a lot of money for a product that was not as advertised, I have been told I will not receive anything back. It was a completely different tour and I never would have paid for this. Do not trust this company of guides. They had no idea what I was talking about when I shared the description of the tour. It was extremely unprofessional, and what they actually offered was not worth the money by a long shot,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, we're sorry the day didn't line up with what you were expecting. Some activities in Jacques-Cartier National Park, including water-based options, are seasonal and simply aren't available in the low season. That depends on the park itself, not on our guides. On the day in question, once the planned route was complete and the group was ready, our guide offered an earlier return rather than having everyone wait on site, an option offered to the group at the time. We always want the experience to match what's described, and we review our listing wording regularly to keep it accurate by season. If anything about your booking is still unresolved, we'd genuinely like to look into it with you directly.
We had a good hike with Pierre as our guide and ate lunch in a beautiful natural setting. It was well worth the trip.
Our guide Aurelie met us on the bus with a cheery smile, and then drove us to the Jacques Cartier national park. We had a lovely hike through the forest, although the weather was against us, she kept us going with interesting facts and a happy disposition. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Great time despite the rain.
We went out n the guided tour that included lunch. Our guide was wonderful and we had enough time to do our own mini hike after lunch.
Tour guide was great, and the park was beautiful. The bus driver didn't supply a lot of information about where to go or how to meet the guide or what the day would entail, so we almost missed our tour. It seems that many people on the bus had signed up for different activities, so not all of us were there for the same reasons. One guy on our bus missed the guided portion of the tour...when I realized that we'd found our tour group at the zero-hour, I ran off to find him but couldn't. :(
Excellent service. Very informative walk and a perfect suggestion for another hike in the afternoon. Great weather and all the colorful leaves made this a day to never forget
Very nice. and competent guide (Jonathan). Nice trails, but mainly through forests (at least the short ones that we went). OK lunch - but calling it "gourmet" which the description said is an exaggeration.
Beautiful National Park with multiple trails of varying difficulty. First half of the day is a guided hike. Second half of the day you could choose your own trail to hike.
The Jacques Cartier National Park tour was fabulous not too far from Quebec but lovely to get out to nature. The guide, Aureue, was brilliant and very caring and wonderful with me. I have a lung issue and find it difficult to climb and she made sure I was okay all the time. There were many beautiful views on this tour and I would thoroughly recommend it to people to experience it.
Great guided tour. The lunch was below par, very little food, I expected more to recover from the hike.
