Caminhada em Napa Valley Redwood

This was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Napa Valley. The weather was beautiful, and the hike was the perfect way to experience a different side of the region. Clint was an outstanding guide, sharing fascinating insights about both the local landscape and Napa Valley throughout the hike. He was knowledgeable, engaging, and incredibly patient, graciously answering all of our many questions. While Napa is best known for its vineyards, exploring the natural beauty of its forests is an experience that should not be missed. We are so grateful to Clint and Napa Natives for providing such an exceptional and memorable day. We highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting the area.

We had a great time! Clint was on time, picked us up from our hotel, and drove us to the trailhead; he was super friendly and was flexible with time, which was awesome, given we went during a heat wave. The hike was easy enough for the indoor cat child as well as the geriatric people in my family (a couple of marginally spry 80 yr olds), with some added danger elements (lol) which Clint helped us overcome (crossing a babbling brook, avoiding poison ivy, etc.). Most of it was shaded, with a few sections that were warmer/sunnier than others. We learned a ton about the geography of napa valley, the different soil types, climates, and a lot about redwoods that was super fascinating. And the indoor cat child learned to identify poison ivy, so that's a plus. :)

The hike was near Calistoga. We were picked up in a very nice vehicle. Our guide Tyler was very knowledgeable about local plant and wildlife and shared stories from the area. He was an excellent guide and we had a wonderful time.

We had an amazing private tour, lunch, and wine tasting after a beautiful hike through Bothe-Napa Valley State Park. Tyler and Clint truly gave us the best day of our first trip to Napa! Having Tyler guide us on the hike and explain the wildlife and plants made the experience so much more meaningful. Seeing the redwood trees and enjoying such a peaceful, scenic hike was unforgettable. The food and wines were incredible — Chef did a fantastic job — and the views were just as impressive. We wrapped up the day with a lovely drive through Soda Canyon, which was the perfect ending. Highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Napa. It was absolutely worth it!
