Itinerário
Esta aventura começa na praça do Vidigal, onde pegaremos um moto-táxi (transporte usual para os moradores do Vidigal) até entrarmos na reserva. Uma caminhada leve/moderada de 50 minutos nos espera, contornando o morro Dois Irmaos e vendo de cima a Rocinha, a maior favela do Brasil, reconheceremos também os bairros de São Conrado, Barra da Tijuca, Pedra da Gávea, Pedra Bonita, bairro da Gávea, Cristo Redentor, entre outros. Este passeio tem o melhor custo/benefício de todos os trekking's que você conhece! Subida Noturna: Recebemos o nascer do sol de cima e descemos pela manhã. É como fazer duas excursões em uma! Inclui lanterna e um café para receber o sol. De manhã e ao meio-dia: Subimos e descemos acompanhados pela luz do sol, podendo apreciar o percurso duas vezes. Subida à tarde e descida à noite: Despedimo-nos do sol de cima e descemos à noite. É como fazer duas excursões em uma! Inclui lanterna.
Descemos o morro por um atalho que nos deixa na área mais alta do Vidigal. Visitaremos a pousada "Mirante de Avrao" com uma linda vista panorâmica da favela, em seguida iremos ao "Quiosque do Avrao" onde temos a opção de café da manhã, almoço ou lanche, também servem caipirinhas e cervejas geladas . Por fim, a descida pelo coração do Vidigal! Percorreremos escadas, corredores, sua rua principal e secundárias conhecendo a história da comunidade, fatos interessantes e vistas panorâmicas de sonho!

Climbing the Morro Dois Irmãos from Vidigal with Fernando was much more than a walk: it was living Rio from the inside. Fernando is not only a guide; he is someone who connects you to the history, culture and real energy of the favela as you walk. Each leg made sense because he was telling, explaining and transmitting with passion. The climb was challenging... and the descent even more 😅, but I never felt insecure. Always attentive, helping in difficult times and transmitting confidence even when vertigo appeared. We walked down the whole favela next to him, which made the experience even more authentic. Although that day the sun decided to go down, the magic was the same. It placed us on the top line to achieve the best shots and live the moment to the fullest. And the details that make the difference: he baited mate while we waited for dawn, carried a portable fan and made me air when I was already sold out... the Uruguay flag for our photos! Simple gestures that demonstrate genuine care. It wasn’t just an outing: it was a physical challenge, an emotional connection and an experience that stays on the skin. If you want to know Vidigal for real, with security, respect and a unique energy... Fernando is the guide you need.

The line for the mototaxi was very long so we took a risk trying to get to the top faster and it led to us walking up Vidigal rather than riding. It was tough but a much more unique experience. Fernando and Bryan were very kind. They provided me with water and were very helpful on the hike and open to helping with pictures. Bryan was also very helpful and gave me ten reals to pay for a bus ride home because I couldn’t pay. Very kind guys and a great experience!

A crack!! We took a guided tour of the Vidigal favela and it was an amazing experience. Our guide was very friendly and attentive throughout, he knows the area perfectly and made us feel safe and welcome from the first minute. One of the highlights was that he made photos and videos with drone, capturing spectacular moments and breathtaking views of Rio de Janeiro. Thanks to him we have wonderful memories of this day! 100% recommend this experience to anyone who wants to know the reality and culture of Vidigal in a respectful and authentic way. An excellent guide!

Rio has a variety of things to do and one of them is the Morro Dois Irmao and the Favela de Vidigal a unique experience, the guide Fernando a passionate about nature , at 2 am you have to stand , is explaining everything about the area both ascent and descent ,my best photos of Rio was in the morro at dawn without a doubt , then in the favela Vidigal is explaining and there are some murals where beautiful photos come out , we meet people who care for the community are areas where you can not record but I always felt safe , if you have the opportunity I recommend them.
Fernando is amazing, he’s very knowledgeable and knows the trail and the favela really well and he’s so much fun to be around. We had the best time and would highly recommend. His photo skills are also top notch. ;)
