We booked the tour with not much expectations but then were blown away by this epic trip! Kayaking through the narrow channels of the mangroves is sooooooo much better than just going on a motorboat, you really see nature up close! Farly is a superb guide, telling interesting facts about nature all the way. Really thankful having booked with him!

An absolutely fantastic and unforgettable tour! With Farly, you truly paddle deep into the mangrove forests and get to experience this unique nature and landscape “from the inside.” I really love nature and kayaking—but I’m usually not a fan of guided tours. However, Farly’s tour could change my mind for once! In a small group, you explore the karst landscape and mangroves away from the usual tourist paths and go deeply into the mangrove forests. Farly is incredibly knowledgeable and shares many fascinating insights about the mangroves and beyond. I thought long and hard about whether I really wanted to join a tour, and I’m so glad I chose Farly’s—it was truly one of a kind. On top of that, Farly takes amazing photos throughout the entire tour and shares them all at the end. So not only a great guide, but also a great photographer 😉. And a refreshing swim towards the end is as well a wonderful highlight. A clear recommendation for all nature lovers looking for a unique experience in this beautiful landscape. And to top it all off, there’s a delicious local meal at his wife’s Warung—absolutely tasty!

We absolutely picked the right tour operator and guide! Farly was amazing. So conscientious, enthusiastic and keen to share his knowledge of the mangrove forest. Plus he took some fabulous photos of us. My husband and I were the only people on this tour today, but Farly keeps his tour groups small anyway, so everyone gets a good experience. We had an amazing kayaking trip with Farly yesterday! From start to finish, he was the most professional operator we’ve ever experienced. His communication before and after the tour was excellent, and he spoke English very well, which made everything easy and enjoyable. As a group of three total novices, we really appreciated the slow pace and relaxing vibe of the trip. Farly took us to beautiful, quiet places that most other companies don’t go, and we even got to do a bit of exploring. His private kayak base—with clean bathrooms and a peaceful setup away from the crowded tour operators—was such a bonus. Farly’s knowledge of the area was incredible, and his passion for nature and his job truly shone through. You could tell he absolutely loves what he does, and it made the entire experience feel special and personal. If I could give him 10 stars, I absolutely would. Support a small business owner and get a personalized, unforgettable kayaking trip—you won’t regret it!

We were a small group of 5. Kayak equipment was good quality, a choice of single or double kayaks. Farly our guide is knowledgable and entertaining. We saw kites and sea eagle as visitors on motor boats see. We also saw kingfishers, a monitor, two vipers sleeping, long tail monkeys and several caves. With kayaks you experience the tranquility and appreciate the shapes of the mangroves. I learnt that tides don’t affect best visiting times and mosquitoes don’t live in saltwater. As a visitor on kayak i felt i was supporting the geoforest park. Touring by kayak doesn’t even leave Footprints in the sand.

Thoroughly enjoyed this half day kayaking adventure through the mangroves. It was challenging but so worth it! Farly is an awesome guide with a great personality. Learned a lot and actually got to see a baby monkey, monitor lizard, a sleeping venomous snake and eagles! Highly recommend

My husband and I had an amazing mangrove kayaking trip with Farly who is also known as ぐっさん(日本語のニックネーム). Farly is really relaxed with lots of jokes and has a lot of knowledge about the mangroves and the nature in de kilim geoforest. He is really fun. そして日本語も本当にお上手です。 The equipment is in a good quality. The tour followed a route that was really quiet so not a lot of other tourists. Farly took many fantastic photos for free! Since it was hard for us to take photos on the kayak, this complimentary photos are big plus! Again thank you for this amazing trip Farly/ぐっさん！
