Esta excursão de 12 horas começa no vale de Lerma e, em seguida, leva você em uma unidade para El Carril, continuando até Chicoana. Maravilhe-se com a impressionante beleza dos desfiladeiros conhecidos como Quebrada de los Laureles e Quebrada de Escoipe. Dirija ao longo da Cuesta del Obispo, em uma estrada com curvas abundantes. Contemple as vistas panorâmicas do Vale Encantado e pequenas casas cercadas por campos de milho e árvores frutíferas. Quando chegar à Piedra del Molino, você estará a 3.384 metros acima do nível do mar, o ponto mais alto da viagem. Quando você chegar em Cachi, terá uma vista deslumbrante do Nevado de Cachi e do Payogasta. Na cidade de Cachi, você vai parar para visitar o museu arqueológico e a igreja.

Comece sua excursão com uma picape no seu hotel localizado no centro de Salta por volta das 7h30.
Depois, siga para o Vale Lerma, viajando até você passar por El Carril.
Depois de passar por El Carril, você continuará em Chicoana. Então, entre na Quebrada de los Laureles, também conhecida como Garganta do Laurel.
Em seguida, siga para a Quebrada de Escoipe, o Desfiladeiro Escoipe.
Continuando com o passeio, chegue ao Maray entrando na estrada do Penhasco do Bispo e percorra suas curvas abundantes, desfrutando de uma vista panorâmica do Vale Encantado ao longo do caminho. Ao chegar à Piedra del Molino, a Pedra do Moinho, você terá alcançado 3384 metros acima do nível do mar.
Mais tarde, o Parque Nacional Los Candones será atravessado pela linha reta de Tin Tin, a antiga estrada construída pelos incas.
Chegue ao menos em Cachi e tenha uma visão ampla do Nevado de Cachi e do Payogasta. Faça o seu caminho para a cidade para visitar o Museu Arqueológico e Igreja.

If you are hesitant because of the duration... it's worth. The journey is the experience and not the destination. If you are afraid of heights, as I am, dont worry about it. With someone else driving you get to experience the beauty of the valley below. These aren't European or USA mountains with terrifying cliff edges. Our guide Santiago was great. It was a great day overall.

I wish we could give a higher rating, because I think the tour guide tried hard to make this a good day out. However, the tour was sold as being in English as well as Spanish, and our driver/guide didn’t have any English at all. I have a little bit of Spanish so I managed to understand some, but it was difficult for me because I’m not fluent and I spent all day trying to understand quickly enough to translate for my partner. There were four of us on the tour, in a 4x4 where I was sat in the middle of the back seat. It was not very comfortable for me because I was squashed against a man I did not know for a long drive. There is some beautiful scenery, and I’m sure the driver/guide gave some interesting information if you are fluent in Spanish. I don’t have a problem with people not speaking English - but they should advertise and sell tickets as a Spanish tour in that case, so it is honestly advertised. Then we would have known to book with another tour company instead.

We went by car, alternating stretches of road in good condition and some really terrible ones. And don't confuse gravel, dirt (things I love) with routes completely pocked with saws and without signage. The views on the trip are not great (nothing to do with the trip to Cafayate). We arrived in Cachi at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday and literally EVERYTHING closed. The craft fair closes at 3:00 p.m., nothing to eat, just a cafeteria and an open ice cream parlor. To highlight, in the cafeteria they did not want to sell us water for the thermos (I don't have any, said the manager ha). I would not return, for us a lost day.

A very good experience was traveling to Cachi... The little town is dreamlike and the mountain road is very beautiful... You reach a height of 3,458 meters above sea level in Piedra del Molino, with some of the most beautiful landscapes... attention to those who sign up... Highly recommended....
We had a lovely experience!! Our tour guide was wonderful, the views were spectacular, and the bus was very comfortable! It’s a lot of time on the bus but seems like the best way to see all of these places in one go! Definitely recommend.
