Lots of funny and turned out beautifully
I very much enjoyed my time at the Shibori Museum! The friendly staff gave me lots of personal attention, and the scarf they helped me make is lovely! And the highly skilled artistic creations displayed in the museum were truly impressive. I'm very glad that I booked this experience!
Kind people who gave us a wonderful experience! The small place is personable, really wants to share their craft, and was an all around fun way to spend an afternoon! Do this!
We had a really fun and interesting time. We were made to feel very welcome and the process was explained clearly. At the end there was a big reveal as we unfolded the scarves that we made. Whilst we waited for the scarves to dry we were able to view the museum which was fascinating. I would definitely recommend it.
So fun getting to make a scarf and also learn about the history and process of dying! Everyone was so nice, we had a really wonderful time.
Between incredibly kind and passionate staff, a unique experience and the beautiful scarf you leave with, this was a very VERY special experience for us. The entire museum is full of fascinating history and beautiful artwork. ほんとうにありがとうございます。
A wonderful experience! We absolutely loved the Shibori class in Kyoto. The teachers were incredibly nice, patient and explained everything very understandably. It was great fun to try this traditional dyeing technique for yourself. A highly recommended course for any Kyoto visit!
Excellent, fun and friendly scarf making session and guide through the museum. Our scarves were absolutely beautiful ✔️
All staff super friendly! The path from the white scarf to the dyed one is accompanied step by step and everyone can help there in english if you don't know Japanese. The Shibori itself is a lot of fun, but the little show when opening the dyed one is just great and really moody. The awake and drying time can be spent very well in the museum above. We were more than just satisfied and can only recommend this experience of the Handcrafts and with the great people there.
Great experience! Clear instructions and the class is very hands-on, plus I love my scarf. The unexpected highlight was learning more about shibori and seeing the incredible masterpieces displayed on the 2nd floor while I waited for my scarf to dry. Highly recommend this activity!
