Alexa was a wonderful guide, she made the experience so fun and lovely! We saw soooo many things and she did a fantastic job making sure everyone saw the animals and was super respectful towards the wildlife. We can’t wait to come back and take another snorkeling or dive trip with them!

Nice friendly guides. We have seen rays, sharks, sea turtles and various fish. Also as icing on the cake a whale!

It was a fantastic experience and a fun day. Snorkeled in a small group, dived and visited Cano Island. Lunch was also good in a cozy restaurant. And Yemanya is a professional and warm organization with a fun, young and competent team. We had the feeling they enjoyed doing it themselves. And at the request of our son who went diving, they made a combined tour of it. They were happy to do that, great!!

We saw sharks, dolphins, a lot of turtles. They came very close. They said I could not touch it. But one swam directly to me. I had to be fast to not touch it. It was amazing. Unfortunately my family was seesick, and did not enjoy it at all. The lunch was on a privat beach on the main land. It was very good prepared. After the lunch we went back and arrived at home at half past one.

What a charming family! First, I had a problem with my booking (an error on my end) and they were very responsive and helped me right away. An absolutely unforgettable experience! We did our introductory scuba dive with Yemanya Expedition in Drake Bay and the experience was so good that we decided to extend our stay to get our Open Water certification with them. We want to especially thank Alexa for her enormous professionalism, her way of explaining every detail, her patience, her knowledge, and the confidence she conveys underwater. From the first minute we felt total transparency, an incredible atmosphere, and very high-quality instruction, always enjoying every dive. Also thanks to Yock and the entire Yemanya team for making this experience one of the most special memories of our honeymoon. If you are thinking about diving in Drake Bay, do not hesitate: for us, Yemanya Expedition is the best dive center. We wish you much success and hope to return someday!

We were a small manageable international group (8 snorkelers and one diver), which was very pleasant and contributed to very good communication with Alexa and her team but also within the group. Cano Island is a biological reserve with severely restricted diving and access rights. Diving or snorkeling is only permitted in a relatively small coastal area. But it is definitely worth it: We have been able to observe sharks, turtles and also large schools of fish in their element. After the first snorkel course, equipped with a fruit snack, followed a stop on Cano. After consultation with the participants, a second snorkel spot in the open water was targeted. A total of 3 “drift snorkeling trips” were carried out here (although I always felt safe due to the prudent captain!). Here we could again observe sharks and even manta rays. Next, the Playa Josecito was headed. Equipped with a beer or soft drink had about 45 minutes to swim/snorkel or just to enjoy the dreamlike environment. Other agencies offered a simple meal here. We went back to Drake with the whole group and had lunch there in a good restaurant. At the latest, a certain “team spirit” is set! During the meal we reviewed the experience and exchanged views on other activities in Costa Rica. An unforgettable holiday day! I can fully recommend Yemanya Expeditions. Alexa and her team are friendly and 100% professional.

Despite poor visibility due to the sea state, the guides still did everything they could within the rules to find wildlife, they had a genuine passion for nature and this helped make the tour much more exciting. They turned bad conditions into a fantastic day as we got lucky and found some Devil Rays. We also saw Turtles and Dolphins, the fish were some of the best I've seen despite poor visibility. Great snacks and lunch too.
