Descrição
Buzludzha é um pico histórico nas Montanhas dos Balcãs Centrais, Bulgária e tem 1.432 metros de altura. Em 1868, foi o local da batalha final entre rebeldes búlgaros liderados por Hadji Dimitar e Stefan Karadzha e forças do Império Otomano. A Casa-Monumento do Partido Comunista Búlgaro (também conhecido como Monumento Buzludzha) foi construída no pico pelo regime comunista búlgaro. Comemorou os eventos de 1891, quando um grupo de socialistas liderados por Dimitar Blagoev reuniu-se secretamente na área para formar um movimento socialista organizado que levou à fundação do Partido Social-Democrata Búlgaro, um precursor do Partido Comunista da Bulgária. A construção do monumento começou em 23 de janeiro de 1974 sob o arquiteto Georgi Stoilov, ex-prefeito de Sofia e co-fundador da União dos Arquitetos na Bulgária. O edifício exemplifica o estilo arquitetônico brutalista comum a muitos edifícios comunistas construídos pelo estado.

I visited this place and I am in ore with the architecture. Really pleased that it will be finally restored as it has been left to decay for so long. It is secured nowadays but inside is truly phenomenal with the wall mosaics and the acoustics. A true national treasure. This is the only communist monument of this kind. Beautiful surroundings too. I cannot wait to see It restored.
I'd recommend this company. Smarttrans were very organised and helpful including text updates as to when our driver would arrive. We very much enjoyed our trip - Dennis was great. Shame about the low clouds at Buzludzha but still very atmospheric.
Highly recommended. It seems to be a new tour with this company and they are certainly tries to accomodate specific needs. We were a big family with a small child and many wills, and almost every will was satisfied. We were also accomodated as last-minute booking in high season which was great! Both Buzludzha and Plovdiv are highly recommended as attractions of Bulgarias rich history! Very satisfied. Some things could always be improved, like complimentary water in the car.
