Mr Chang was a wonderful guide and knowledgeable guide. It was a lovely journey to the mountain where the temple and hermitage are situated. The temple meal, bibimbap, was a great experience and really delicious as well!
Thank you for joining my temple tour on this hot summer day. Following the schedule, we visited Beomeosa Temple, its hermitage Cheongnyeonam, and finally Hongbeopsa Temple. At Hongbeopsa, we enjoyed bibimbap for lunch. Lastly, we looked around the flower market located at Nopo Station. Thank you very much for your interest in Korean culture and Buddhism. I hope you enjoyed the snacks I gave you as gifts.
We had a wonderful time! Suyang made the experience comfortable and memorable. We were given souvenir tote bags and delicious snacks. We also stoped at a flower market before the end of tour. Highly recommended when traveling to Busan!
Thank you for participating in my temple tour. I was also happy to have a pleasant time with your lovely family. I gave you dried fruit and nut mix as a snack today, and I was glad that all of your family liked it.
Beautiful experience with a simple and effective visit... Suyang explains very well and was very kind and patient... 5 stars deserved, recommended!
Thank you for joining my temple tour. I hope it helped you understand Korean history and Buddhism. After visiting Hongbeopsa Temple, when we took the shuttle bus to Nopo Station, thank you for singing a wonderful song on the bus. Everyone on the bus enjoyed your song.
Suyang was very helpful from the start, made contact early, and made sure we met up safely. Very informative throughout the tour, and ensured we were well catered for and comfortable. A lovely tour guide whom I would highly recommend. The Beomeosa temple was very interesting and in a lovely setting. We learnt a lot. It was al lovely day well spent with the limited time we had.
Thank you for participating in my temple tour. We met at a cruise bus stop in Nampo-dong and took the subway to Beomeosa Temple. We took a look around Beomeosa Temple first, had lunch, and then moved to Hongbeopsa Temple. After the temple tour, I sent you two back to the cruise stop in Nampo-dong. Thank you very much for arranging your precious time on my temple tour.
The tour guide is very friendly and professional, totally push the tour guide today! Although the leaves are not red a little unfortunate, it will not affect the whole trip. Korean fasting experience is also interesting, the first time to eat vegetarian Korean sausages.
Suyang did a wonderful job as my tour guide today. I was the only person on the tour, and I felt safe and was treated respectfully by him at all times, which is very important for women who are sightseeing without a companion. He thoughtfully provided a bottle of water to begin our journey to the first temple, which he told interesting and entertaining anecdotes about. He walked at a gradual pace that I could easily keep up with. The temple grounds were beautiful and the buildings were ornate, and one could see and hear from a respectful distance the morning music and prayers. Then we went to the flower market which was full of beautiful blooms, and then we visited the golden Buddha statue at the next temple and had a good vegetarian bibimbap meal. He showed me the grounds which has a gorgeous lily pond. He also gave me lots of good information about finding vegetarian food near my hotel, as that is not always easy to do in Korea. I would definitely recommend him as a tour guide, and the temples were interesting to visit.
Thank you for participating in my temple tour. It must have been difficult to walk for a long time due to the hot rainy weather, but you have participated positively and actively in my tour all the time. Thank you very much for appreciating my tour. I am glad that my tour can contribute to making your wonderful memories in Korea.
5 out of 5 Despite the rain this was a fabulous adventure, the temples were amazing and lunch was really special!. Suyang was so helpful and patient. Highly recommend
Thank you for participating in my temple tour. First, we went to the flower market and looked at various flowers. Next, we visited Hongbeop Temple and ate lunch, Bibimbap. After lunch, we saw the largest seated Amitabha Buddha in Korea. After a wonderful time taking pictures at Hongbeopsa Temple, we moved to Beomeosa Temple. We toured the main building of Beomeosa Temple and also visited the attached hermitage. Finally, we finished our tour after looking at the traditional market opened by rural farmers. Thank you for participating in my tour even in rainy and inclement weather.
Suyang is a great host. I really enjoyed the information he shared about the history of the temples. I highly recommend that you join him and visit the temples. You will discover so much that you would not find on your own. As a solo traveler ot was nice to have someone show me around.
Thank you for participating in my temple tour. According to the schedule, we visited Beomeosa Temple, Beomeosa Temple's hermitage, and finally Hongbeop Temple. We ate bibimbap for lunch at Hongbeop Temple. It was a little difficult due to the early summer heat, but we had a pleasant time enjoying the cool breeze in the evergreen forest. I was also happy that you liked the flower market we visited after the temple tour. You enjoyed Sikhye(rice juice) at the market, so I recommend you try it again next time. Thank you again for participating in my tour.
Great walking tour of 2 beautiful temples. The guide was very knowledgeable about the places and provided a good summary of their history. The second temple is unknown to tourists, so I was very thankful to the guide for taking me there. A free vegetarian lunch is also provided at the temples. Highly recommend this tour to those who are interested in visiting ancient temples in a serene surrounding. Walking and taking public transport with the guide provided me with a truly local experience.
Thank you for participating in my temple tour. I am always honored to be able to introduce Korea's beautiful temples with my tour. Famous temples usually have several hermitages, but they are easily overlooked by ordinary visitors. A feature of my tour is that I introduce participants to hermitages that ordinary tourists easily pass by. Also, if you take the KTX between Seoul and Busan, you can see a huge golden Buddha statue. If you participate in my tour, you will be able to see the Buddha statue right in front of your eyes and be deeply moved. Once again, thank you for participating in my temple tour.
Very positive and interesting experience. Very careful and patient guide. Thanks to the capable and informed guide I was able to learn many interesting things.Everything positive
Thank you for participating in my temple tour. It was an honor to introduce Korean Buddhism along with history. I also explained the differences in the characteristics of Buddhism in Northeast Asian countries. I am happy and proud that you had a good time with my tour.
