Buggy Off-Road Excursion to Sete Cidades - HD (buggy compartilhado)

The trip was amazing we live on the island and have family visiting and this has so far been the best part of their trip. The guide was funny, informative and made sure everyone was having fun. Will do this tour with every person that comes to visit us on the island. Well worth the cost

Such a great experience and tour. First, it was a full 4 hour tour. No corners cut. We traveled paved roads, dirt roads and paths allowing us to see many aspects of the west side of Sao Miguel. We briefly stopped for snacks and restroom in a lovely town. . Our guide, friendly and gregarious, made sure we were safe and comfortable; he also offered helpful commentary/insight at various stops throughout the trip. He always took us to "just the right spot" at each stop, allowing for great vistas and outlooks. He took great pics of our family, for which we are grateful. Our "buggy" was clean and in great working order. If (when?!) we return to Sao Miguel, we will definitely do this tour again with this company! Super fun. Recommend highly. Tips: bring face protection (we wore bandanas / buffs) and sunglasses (or more) for eyes. Sometimes, dust gets kicked up if traversing dry roads. Also, wear / bring layers - can get a bit colder in some spots as cross island microclimates.

We just got back from Sao Miguel and we did the buggy tour our first day. We were there with our three adults kids and they Loved the excursion. We just got home and they all said that it was their favorite part of the trip.

Good experience! Cool views and great pictures with the family! A little cold and wet depending on weather.

This was a great way to see the island. Even with clouds and fog made it a lot of fun. Mostly road driving but some dirt roads and driving around the lake was really cool. Dress warm!

So much fun. Our guide Vasco was the best. Be prepared for the weather - we were not but Vasco found extra jackets for the kids. Great views and a great experience!

What an experience Rueben our guide was a wealth of knowledge and because it was low season we were the only buggy so he road in the backseat with us. Lots of little tidbits on information during the drive and at the stop points. We had been to Crete Cidades on our own twice for the views but the information tied all the pieces together. Highly recommend.

Amazing experience. Beautiful scenes and driving off-road adds to the overall picture. The tour guide was awesome providing a lot of interesting details about the island. We are very happy that we booked this activity.

This was a fantastically fun day driving an off road buggy through stunning scenery on San Miguel! Andrei our guide was enthusiastic showing us his favorite places and very knowledgeable with facts and legends. Highly recommend this tour!!
