Pick up- we had no issues with pick up, just beware that the drivers can’t come into some hotel areas due to privacy (hotel policy). Also beware that you aren’t the only resort they are picking up from. Drop off- now this is where it got bad, our driver never came back for us , we had to ask loads of other drivers if they would take us back to our hotel, luckily one lovely male agreed to take us for free (we tipped him due to the inconvenience). Sales- personally I enjoyed the tasting of chocolate, coffee and tea. All I said was “I don’t want to buy any” and they left me alone, don’t be scared to say no. Buggy’s- they weren’t in the best condition, most started by wires but honestly I didn’t judge, got on and still drove it with my partner but we had a main issue, our break was faulty, we didn’t massively go quick so we weren’t bothered. Until our forward pedal got jammed and we started going at full speed due to it being stuck, my partner had to slam his foot on the pedal 3 times for it to un-jam itself, it was scary due to the fact we nearly crashed into other buggy’s at full speed, I’m happy my partner handled the situation as well as he did but I feel like some people wouldn’t be able to handle it the same way. Staff- guides are lovely, funny and kind but when I had an issue with my buggy I told the guide and he said “okay” then we kept driving, we felt completely unsafe for most of the time as my partner was trying his hardest not to trigger it to jam (we still don’t know what caused this but it happened more than once and we told him that). I wish they hadn’t have brushed it off like that as we genuinely were enjoying ourselves until that point. Views- the sights were okay, if you love villages etc this is for you. Cave- it was so crowded me and my partner couldn’t get down there, we were most excited for this and we couldn’t even get to see it. Organisation- to be honest I feel like it could’ve been more organised but I feel like pick ups and drop offs make it more challenging and chaotic for it to be organised. Beach- the beach was my favourite part, I loved the bar (prices were actually okay), I loved the beach, so many places to sit. I just wish we were there longer, 20 mins didn’t feel like enough time, give us longer Pleaseeee. Pictures- the guy took pictures etc but no one told us how to get them pictures we wanted to pay for them but no one said how to. Would I go again? I would definitely go for the views and not the buggy’s, take away the buggy’s and it would be a fun experience.

Absolutely one of the best tours I've ever done. A complete must is you come to Punta Cana. The tour guide by the name Jean Carlos is incredible, responsible, respectful and so kind. Ask for him! Totally worth every dime says this California Girl. Have fun!

Too much excitement for little money, excellent

Great experience with Jean Carlos

Pickup was horrendous,waited for over an hour…but Overall, the experience was fun! They sell masks/glasses, so I recommend bringing your own if you already have them. The actual riding was nice, and I enjoyed getting to stop at different places along the way. The cave stop was cool, although the experience there was pretty quick. We also stopped to learn about chocolate and other local products. My biggest advice is to be prepared for someone trying to sell you something at EVERY stop! There’s also a photographer taking pictures of you throughout the ATV ride. The pictures were actually really nice quality, but they were expensive when offered at the end. Also, pay attention to prices and don’t feel pressured to buy. One guy tried selling me Mamajuana for around $50–$80, only for me to get to the gift shop at the final stop and see the around $15! 😂 So definitely shop around before buying anything. Aside from all the selling and some questionable upcharging, the ATV portion itself was a good time. The overall experience went by pretty quickly, but it was fun and I’m glad I did it. Just go knowing what to expect, bring what you need, and don’t be afraid to say no!
